I went to this place after reading the other "wonderful" reviews and the owner wouldn't stop hitting on me, the place was so dirty I felt like I needed a bath when I left and the guys there were VERY unprofessional. I had never been to a tattoo shop so I figured they all looked like that so I paid Evan a deposit to design a tattoo for me for my husband's birthday that was three weeks away and he NEVER did it. Now no one there will answer my e-mails or the phone! I'm going to have to take them to court to get my money back - and trust me - I will. I'm also filing complaints with the Attorney General. I think their friends and family must be posting the other reviews on here, because this place was terrible!! I ended up going to Artistic Skin Designs for my husband's birthday tattoo and I couldn't be happier. The work was amazing (much better than the stuff Indianapolis Ink had posted in their shop), they were cheaper and the facilities were VERY clean. I now know the difference between a sleazy tattoo shop and a reputable one. My real first clue should have been that there was NO ONE else at Indianapolis Ink, but when I went to Artistic Skin Designs they were VERY busy. Artistic Skin Designs on West Washington also had their walls covered in awards for their work. Trust me, save your gas, because Indianapolis Ink is a DIVE!!!
Pros: NONE!!
Cons: Dirty, unprofessional, did not return my calls, there was NO parking

This place is really great! I walked in without an appointment (other shops wouldn't take a walk-in) Geno made me feel at ease. His wife is really nice too! The artwork is definitely worth it!! I was really amazed at what he did with my little sketched idea. He does BEAUTIFUL work. I will be back for more and recommend to anyone searching for a great tattoo at a really good price!

I created a City Search account just to post them a comment. I found this shop on City Search/ my wife loves this site, and I was impressed by heir website and discount, so I looked through everyone's online portfolio and chose my artist. WOW.... these guys are awesome, their work is great, their shop is fun, and it seems to be a happening place. I love my tattoo, a huge Koi fish, and my best friend got an amazing dragon that kicked butt. My wife who doesn't like tattoos has now changed her mind becuase of these guys and their work, she is thinking about a butterfly or somehow encorporating our daughters name into a something. I am definately going back for a portrait piece, that seems to be my artists best work. anyway cant give enough praise.
Pros: They got my friend in wthout an appointment
Cons: Video games...you will figure it out when you get there

I emailed Geno, he responded quickly. I sent him my wifes pic, and this was my first tattoo i was really nervous, i wanted to make sure that it was going to look right, he went through his portfolio, and his work was phenominal. Anyway, Geno was awesome, he worked with me we found the perfect picture, and in the end the tattoo was amazing, I couldnt believe how well it turned out, I called him a week later to tell him that it looked like it was already healed and looked amazing still. We came back later and got my wife her "tramp stamp" which was a butterfly, and he did a great job on it. He told us he was the butterfly master, and he was absolutely right. I agree Geno was great, I cannot give enough praise.
Pros: Easy to talk price with, and really worked with me,
Cons: parking was not a problem for me, nor was an appointment, he got my wife right in

I just got my back done with him and it looks phenominal. I got a whole scene with some portrait work in it, and I cant believe how great it looks. Everyone at the shop was so funny and friendly, his wife brought me juice to keep me hydrated and to keep my sugars up. I was there for hours, because it was a huge piece, but honestly I had a great time. Other shops seem more interested in money and less interested in you, but these guys seem all about the art, shich is cool. I priced the idea for the tattoo at metamorphisis and artistic and they wanted thousands of dollars, geno did it at a fraction of that price, and he drew up my entire back for me, so it was all original. I highly reccomend him and the enitire shop. I have one session left til my back is completely finished, and I cant wait, its going to be my myspace profile pic. One thing, for bigger pieces set up an appointment, especially on weekends, especially with Geno, I know that he had an appointment scheduled for after me, so I would just reccomend securing your time.

You could go to a bigger name shop, and pay a bigger price, or you could come to this relatively new shop and dish out half the price for the same quality of work. They have four (I think) artists, all of which are high caliber. I have recieved dozens of tattoos from different artists across the nation, but these guys are the best one could find, especially for the price. I went to a shop that shall remain nameless and they wanted to charge me 125 for a cursive name, I bounced immediately. Once you discover this shop, you will never go anywhere else.
Pros: Great Prices
Cons: Across from Mcdonalds, so if you go there too much, you might pack on lbs

These guys are great, all of them. They were so nice and funny, and all of my tattoos look great. Most tattoo artists are abrasive, these guys were cool. I have four tattoos from them, one from Steve and three from Geno, they all look amazing. They are all fairly priced too. I highly recommend A+++ I have also gotten five piercings from them, and they all healed beautifully and look great.
Pros: Good prices, and really great work, hardly any wait!
Cons: aboslutely none
