I heard about this restaurant in an Indystar article, so I decided to try it out. The decor of the restaurant was relaxed and inviting. Our server was very personable and did a great job explaining the dishes to us. It seemed like the focus is spend on making great downhome Italian food, and boy do they excel at it! We started off with calamari and a bottle of wine. My husband had the spaghetti with their famous #1 meatballs, and I had a personalized chef-made special- which turned out to be a pepper-crusted tuna steak served atop a bed of gnocci. Both meals were melt in your mouth delicious! The Chef/owner even came out to check on our table to see how we liked the food. Seems like they really care about making your dining experience enjoyable. The Tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert were amazing as well. I would definitely recommend this place and return again soon! YUM!
Pros: quality of the meals for the price
Cons: quantity! Too much food- I had leftovers for two lunches!
