GREAT SALON, GREAT HAIRCUT!!!!!!!!!!

I moved to Indiana from California. I wanted to get a haircut and have my hair highlighted. I called Mode Salon and Day Spa. My Stylist was Rhonda. She did a great job on my color and cut. Rhonda is very knowledgeable in her field, and is very professional. I felt like a million bucks when I left the salon. She did a great job on my hair. I am very happy. I love it , love it, love my hair. I will recommend Rhonda to anyone.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, SHE TALKED ABOUT PEOPLE BEING FAT!

I ALSO WISH I COULD OF GIVIN THIS "SALON" A ZERO. OVER PRICED, SHE LEFT BRAIDS NOT DONE, CHARGED 50.00 FOR A CONDITIONER. CHECKOUT $375.00 FOR A SEW IN, BUT ALL MY BRAIDS DIDNT HAVE ANY WEAVE ON THE BRAIDS. RHONDA TALKED ABOUT CLIENTS BEING FAT, AND HOW THEY LET THEM SELVES GO. JUST WONDERING WHAT ALL SHE SAID ABOUT ME. OVERPRICED I HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE FINISH WHAT SHE HALF WAY STARTED. I DID CALL HER AND SHE SAID SHE NEVER WEAVE A ENTIRE HEAD HUH?? JUST ADMIT YOU MESSED UP.IF ONLY SHE WOULD OF STOPPED TALKING ABOUT EVERYONE MAYBE SHE WOULD OF COMPLETED WHAT I PAID HER FOR. TERRIBLE BUSINESSSS!!!! AND WITH THE BIG SPIDER SHE HAD TO SMASH ON THE FLOOR WAS ALSO A TURN OFF. LOOKS NOTHING INSIDE LIKE THE COMPUTER I WAS SHOCKED, I THOUGH I WAS REALLY STEPPING INTO A NICE SPA ATMOSPHERE HA HA SMALL, AND NOTHING TO MENTION. TERRIBLE SERVICE. AND THE KICKER SHE HAD THE NERVE TO USE A LIGHT BROWN THREAD ON MY DARK VERY DARK BLACK HAIR, AND YES THREADS WERE HANGING. RUN FROM MODE SALON. IT SHOULD BE CALLED CODE SALON. I HAVE PIX OF MY WEAVE ALSO I'M TRYING TO POST THESE AS WE SPEAK. TERRIBLE BUSINESS, AND I HEARD SHE CHARGES 1,200 FOR A FUSION WEAVE. I HAD FUSION IN THE PAST FROM CHICAGO AND THEY DON'T CHARGE 1,200 AND I HAD IT DONE FROM BIGGER AND BETTER SALONS THAN THIS CRAP, SHE IS SORTA LOOPIE AND SOMEONE HAS TO BE VERY LOOPIE TO GIVE HER 1,200 FOR A FUSION, I KNOW I WAS CRAZY FOR GIVING HER $375.00 AND SOMEONE HAS TO FIX HER MESS.

Tremendously OVERPRICED and Highly Overrated

IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN THIS SALON A ZERO, I WOULD HAVE. If you are as wealthy as a celebrity and have hundreds - literally hundreds of dollars to spend on your hair, I might say to visit Mode Salon. You might get a decent hair job that if you stretch your imagination and squint your eyes tight enough, may look like it's worth a fourth of it. As I checked out of the salon recently, I was utterly shocked and disappointed at what I was charged. At a time when everyone in this economy struggles, it seems that this salon does its best to get ahead. At the patrons' expense. It was an utter waste of far too much money.

Best Stylist in Indy!

Rhonda is by far the best stylist I've ever had! I've been going to her for about a year now and could not be more pleased... she listens to what you want, works her magic and delivers every time! Thank you Rhonda - I actually LOVE my hair for the first time ever!

Delightful Hair Stylist Knows Her Job

I recently found myself looking for a new hair stylist, which can be very disconcerting and especially scary when the color on your all gray hair is really starting to show! I had two bad experiences with what I thought were reputable people and was really "running scared"! Ha! A good friend recommended her stylist(Greta Randolph) at Mode Salon.Greta knew I was nervous and very easily put me at ease.She has done a great job ever since. I feel like she is a friend as well as my hair stylist. Very professional as well.

Mode stylist trumps competition

I recently moved to Indy from California and delayed having anyone touch my long hair for about 7 months (I'm pretty picky). Then I read another new resident's experience at Mode, particularly with stylist Angie. I had my hair cut today, and I have to say that Angie is the real deal -- a real talent. She listened to what I wanted, instantly had a plan and delivered with star-power. She gave me the best 'do I've had outside of L.A.

Mode is the place to go if you want to look good, and I appreciated its unpretentious atmosphere, friendly staff and fab stylist. Thank you, Angie, for making me feel like "home"...and look great, too!

Won't go anywhere else

I have been going to Mode for 3 years now and won't go anywhere else. Xanthe who has been my stylist for the last year and a half there is very friendly and knows exactly what to do. She listens to what I want and completely delivers. The atmosphere is calming and they take their time to get things right. Nothing ever feels rushed. I recommend this place to anyone.

I am a recent transplant to Indianapolis from San Antonio, and needed a haircut badly. I had been going to the same lady for almost 10 years back in Texas, and was apprehensive about putting my wavy, thick hair that I like to wear straight in new hands. I called Mode Salon on a Saturday asking if there were any openings. The woman who answered, Angie, didn't immediately say she had an opening, but after hearing my nervousness about trying a new stylist, suggested that she herself would take care of me. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Besides reshaping my hair nicely, she cut some new, "in" bangs for me, which I was nervous about because even my old stylist hadn't gotten them quite right. Hers are perfect. I would recommend Angie at Mode Salon to anyone--and I have, since everyone has asked me where I got my hair cut. Affordable, too.

• Pros: long hours during week, full-service salon, centrally located, affordable
• Cons: I imagine they get booked quick--but I got a same-day appt.

Great experience at Mode Salon!

The master stylist was very professional and friendly! She's also FAST! My shampoo and style appointment lasted a little over an hour...very impressive! I purposely gave her very little direction for the styling because I wanted to see what she would do. She styled my hair to frame my face and I loved it! (Usually, I walk out the door, get in my car and immediately start "fixing" my hair, even after I told the stylist exactly what I wanted)

The salon is neat, nicely decorated and comfortable. My favorite feature?! The sinks! I am very short and at most salons I find myself having to stretch uncomfortably to get my head right in the sink, or just get soaked down my back. At Mode, the sinks adjust to you!!

The staff was very friendly as well. I made a second appointment, and they worked with me to get the time I wanted. I called and left a message to see if I could reschedule and within an hour I received a phone call back. Also, if you give them your e-mail, you will recieve a Welcome Letter, which I thought was nice, and appointment reminders, which I think is GREAT!
