I would never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone, EVER! The service was the worst I've ever had in life. It took at least 20 minutes to even get our waters, then we ordered a chicken salad, shrimp, and a burger. There were 3 tables with people in the entire restaurant including us and it took an hour and twenty minutes to get our food. Then when we got the food and we asked the waitress why it took so long, because she never came over and explained anything to us at all. She was actually cleaning the bar, and glassware as we sat there, with no clue about what was going on with our order. So when we asked her what was going on she got an attitude right off the bat and told me that it doesn't take 5 minutes to do a burger. (Which I understand since I do catering for a living!) She got really loud, and was just rude right off the bat when we questioned her about the service time. Then the manager came over and was equally rude, when we told her about our service and she told us that they were really busy all day and we were looking around at all the tables confused so we were expecting some kind of apology or something from the management all she said was "So did you not want your food?" After this comment we just walked out, disgusted and hungry!! It was by a really busy mall and there was no one there but everywhere else was busy and after we left we realized why.

Pros: Really nicely decorated and remodeled restaurant, location was good

Cons: Service was the worst I ever received, waitress and manager were unbelievably rude.

My friend and I randomly found this place on our way back from Chicago, and we were pleasently surprised. They had a wood fired oven, and we both got grilled chicken dishes. The flavor was amazing. For dessert we got the brownie sundae, which was so warm, moist, and delicious. If this place was in my hometown I would definately eat there frequently.

Pros: delicious food

We've been to Castleton Grill three times and never again, all three times have been terrible! This third time, we were in a party of six adults. Salad was good and fresh, baked potato was good...four of us had ordered the Sirloin...all four complained that the steaks were tough! Mine was so tough it had to be "sawed" to cut it...the three bites that I took could never be chewed up, so ultimately those bites ended up in my napkin. In addition, I had ordered medium, but it was more like raw. The waitress said she could take it back, but I said "no" because that would not have improved the toughness. My husband ordered the pork chops...they were so tough that he only ate a few bites. Third time definitely wasn't the charm!

Pros: Fresh salad

Cons: Tough steak

We had as party of 5. We were seated promptly, however that is where the good service stopped. We ordered 2 appetizers and we all had hamburgers. The appetizers took over 20 minutes to get to our table and the hamburgers took an additional 35 minutes. The bad thing is that they were noy busy at all. Just a few tables at best. No reason to be as neglectful as they were. When the hamburgers arrived 3 of them were not made as we had ordered. We were told by the server that the kitchen help was in a "bad" mood. The food was cold. Literally. We had 2 separate checks and they made no offer to adjust our bill in any way. We had to physically get up and go complain to a manager so that we could get drink refills. The server never asked. We had to get up again and go to the server station to get napkins. I will never go there again, and now neither will any of my family or friends.

One of our favorite non-chain restaurants. This place has rarely made us wait to be seated. The prices are very fair and the food and service are great! You can tell that the people who run the place work on training for customer service. We recommend Sunday Brunch, but meals are great at any time!

This place is a great place to eat. The chicken wrap is to die for and the bugers are huge. I also got a fruit salad which was very fresh and the dip was so yummy! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The prices were low for the wonderful quality of food. Entries ran around $6.50 a plate for lunch. I would go back next time I am in Indiana. This place is a great value for great food.
