To those of you that gave this place a great rating and caused me to eat there; Are you crazy? Don't get out much? Is this Okie Chic? Yeah, lot's of food at low prices, but it's hog slop. Low class place, low class patrons, grungy yet friendly wait staff (that's probably too fancy a word), waitresses, OK? If your tastes run to a better class of food than truck stops and gas stations, avoid this place at all costs!
Pros: None whatsoever
Cons: Frightening place to eat

I travel 62 miles one way for their great breakfasts and tenderloins. First introduced to them in 2003 by by indy-native husband. Only drwnback is the limited parking lot size. But that doesn't stop me from going there when I am in the area.--I'll wait for a parking spot!!!
Pros: fast friendly service
Cons: parking lot size

My truck driver husband took me here. The portions are BIG. The food is like my family makes. If you want to watch the fat they make good salads. (big) Turkey is good. Lots of different menu items. I feel comfortable here. No needs to put on heirs. Just be yourself. It is a very friendly place. I would like to see some of the waitresses were alittle more clothes since I do have teenage boys and a husband. But I love it there. Waitress are great personalities. Peanut Fudge is to DIE FOR. Keep on doing great. I drive from Crawfordsville just to eat there. Your Great.
Pros: BIG PORTIONS.. Enough for lunch next day.
Cons: Not enough Parkingl

This is a wildly popular place with a large menu of comfort foods: beef and turkey Manhattans, chopped steak, lasagna, meat loaf. And sides like macaroni and cheese, pea salad, Jell-o and coleslaw. Every meal costs $6, including tax, and includes an entree and two sides. The portions are ENORMOUS. That being said, the food is far from exceptional. The coleslaw was a soupy mess, and the macaroni and cheese was little more than macaroni mixed with melted Velveeta. The green beans tasted as if they had merely been heated directly from the can. The turkey, on the other hand, was very well prepared and the roast beef Manhattan was acceptable. The popularity of the place is obviously because of the ratio of portion size to meal cost and not the quality of the meal itself, and certainly not the atmosphere. It is definitely a hole in the wall, and it looked as if they rarely even vacuum the floor. We had to ask for silverware, and then ask again for a knife, since they provided only forks. The side dishes, and most of the drinks, are served in styrofoam cups. Probably worth a visit to see what the fuss is about, but I doubt I would ever return.
Pros: Price, portions
Cons: Ambience, quality of food

Pros: authentic home cookin, homemade pies+, affordable $
Cons: crowded, limited seating, closed Sundays

I have been going to Manns for years I am 35 and remember going as a kid. The food is great the service is good and the price is good. I wouldn't take a date there. But after we got to know each other and we got past the getting to know you stage I would take them there for the food.
Pros: Good Price, Great food, Comfort food
Cons: , poor visual appeal

I went to Mann's Grill with the hopes of a local polished and tourist friendly dining establishment. What I found was a 'hole in the wall', tucked just outside the city. As far as the food and service, I'm sure they are terrific. However, if you are a tourist looking for a something a little more mainstream, look elsewhere. If you are a little more adventurous and want a true local experience then have at it.
Pros: low price, unique
Cons: , location
