Our family of 4 has been to NBO several times and we love it. From the Prime Rib (for my 78 year old mother),the Beef Manhattan (for my 12 year old daughter) and the great pizza. My husband and I have

been there for the lunch specials (way too much food to eat) and for breakfast. We have had a "grouchy"

waitress before, however we have only seen her on one visit. Everyone seems nice to us. You do have

to get there a little early on Saturday evenings. We meet friends there who live 30 minutes away, they

love the pizza and don't mind the drive either.

  • Pros: Great Pizza
  • Cons: Not enough parking

The Ordinary has some of the best pizza around. You can order a large and I swear it weighs 15 pounds!!! This is also one of the only place's I know of that serves actual brains! I don't eat them, but I've heard people come from all around to get them.

As someone else said, the ambience is not much unless you plan on just having a few beers with your friends and hanging out.

I work in Beech Grove which is near wanamaker and I went here for lunch with some friends from work. I thought it had a nice small town feel to it. I ordered breaded cauliflower which was good, I love it and it's not a lot of places, the price was average. I didn't try the pizza though everyone at my table claimed it was great. A nice place to go for lunch.

This place is awsome and I actually am an African American that stay in the area . I am not a fan of pizza but this would be my overall choice Next to Chicagos Home Runn Inn Pizza. Its just a shame that they have not started delivering in the Local Area

Our team usually does the Donatoes for lunch but someone had tried the Wanamaker Ordinary and suggested that we try it. She said that the toppings were stacked up thick. We don't stray from the norm too often but decided to try it. WOW!!! Absolutely fantastic. We had 11 people eating on two supreme 16' party cut pizzas and had almost a whole pizza left. Everyone was commenting that the pizza was delicious and they were so full!! I would say that as far as Pizza goes this little restaurant off of the beaten path is definately OUT OF THE ORDINARY in a very delicious way!!

  • Pros: Good price, good food

my family has been a fan of new bethel ordinary for at least two years, and even with the slight price increase the pizza is completely worth it! i can only eat one slice; it is truly the BEST pizza in indy/wannamaker. never disapointed; always delicious!

  • Pros: only for die hard pizza coniseurs!
  • Cons: not enough parking spaces on a busy night; carry out is difficult at times. smoking patrons

My parents live near the Ordinary(within walking distance), and whenever i am there we always get either a supreme pizza, or go for my personal favorite for breakfast, brains & eggs. This is most definitely the best pizza i have ever had and think that it could go up as one of the best pizzas in the country.

  • Pros: Amazing Pizza, Great breakfast menu, Variety on menu, Very good home-town feel, its in wanamaker
  • Cons: none whatsoever

The pizza is just OK. Lotsof cheese, which is a plus. The crust was decent. Although I found the amount of pepperoni to be too much,as it was about all I tasted. VERY SLOW SERVICE- EVEN ON TAKE_OUT!

Seating is cramped in dining area and I would recommend take-out. The parking is ridiculously scant. You will drive around for a parking space, if you go at peak time.

  • Pros: lots of cheese
  • Cons: parking, service and price

Locals know the legendary Ordinary pizza. So big you can hardly eat more than one piece. Stuffed full of grade A toppings it is a satisfying and filling meal. The only problem is they don't delivery. The ambiance is not much so you may want to order carry-out. Take it home and enjoy with a big glass of soda.
