This place has it all. It has the Blues and every other kind of band just depending in what room you are in. It is a great place to hang before a colts game. But the Food is great!! Try the nachos
- Pros: atmosphere is great
- Cons: kind of loud
Smoky, but Great for Live Music
by lindsayny at Citysearch
SNI is def. a great spot for Live Music (although it gets very smoky)! Usually there is a $5 cover for nights when there is music; but if you were dining in before they start charging at the door, you can get around that! Definitely the place to go on Thursdays, half price drinks! Not a great place to eat dinner with a large group; we once went with about 15 others, and they did not separate the check at all (they said we would have had to tell them far in advance). This can be very difficult for people who don't regularly carry cash, but there was an on-site ATM!
- Pros: Great Music, Good Atmosphere, Diverse Crowd
- Cons: Smoky
touristy, but a good time at a cool venue
by lurchl at Citysearch
This is one of those must-visit staples in Indy, but there is a reason for that. There are three rooms in this club, one straight-ahead bar and two rooms for live music of different sizes. There's also a dining area as well. Check out the open-mike night, is one of the best of its kind that I have ever seen.
FANTASTIC!

This place is a must if you like live music and a laid back atmosphere. My boyfriend and I went to Indy for the weekend and everyone recommended this place. It was pretty crowded but no one was rude and the staff was friendly as well. Would definately go back if I ever found myself in Indy again!
- Pros: Live Music, Great Atmosphere
Blues, booze and bar food attract crowds to Indiana's oldest continually operating bar.

In Short
Founded in 1850 as the Tremont House, and once a stop on the Underground Railroad, the Noodle is now the place for touring and local blues musicians to play in Indy. The club also draws big names like Billy Joel for post-concert jams and Dave Matthews for visits. The smoky atmosphere and smokin' tunes call for burgers and fries, but you also can order anything from filet mignon to salads.
The best times happen at the Noodle

The environment is always happening, the people are fun and friendly, the staff is great, and the bar itself has so much character! I drive 150 miles oneway to go every few weeks!
- Pros: lots of room, several bands, lots of staff
- Cons: lot parking, always a hangover
