Threattend by TeaBaggers while the staff just looked away!

Horrible, Went last night for a quiet night of cheese and Ale. After a conversion with someone who was talking about health care, after they left, an apparent TeaBagger cam over and started threatening us, screaming at myself and my husband calling us Nazi and directed the entire bar to look over at the "Socialist F**KING NAZI" and that we were "F**KING RETARDED"
While is is not the bars fault, this went on for over 15 minutes and we looked over at the bar tender who just looked away. They never asked him to stop or leave or lower his voice. This man only stopped after I took out my phone to record him, but he still want over to his 4 friends who were laughing and started with more rant about us and as we left they were shouting "Good Bye Liberal NAZI!!" Avoid this pave like the plague or be very careful.
- Pros: Was once a nice place to go..
- Cons: Teabaggers have taken over - be careful -Danger- Crazies

In Short
In the summer, this Broad Ripple corner is the place to see and be seen. Outside, couples fill sidewalk tables and sip merlot. Inside, the European-style pub and separate dining room are cozy and romantic. Entrees are generous like grilled chicken breast topped with sweet dried-fruit-and-olive compote. Filet mignon, drenched in Gorgonzola sauce, is complimented by flavorful horseradish mashed potatoes. If there's room, finish with a cup of coffee and velvety chocolate mousse.
HORRIBLE Service

We went on 7/24 with out of town guests. We were seated and then ignored (even by the water server) for over 15 minutes. Then he wandered over and poured one glass of water. We asked him if he could get a server. He looked panicked and ran away. The hostess then stopped by and said, "you know, you're at that point of the night where servers switch over." Then she walked off! No offer to get our drink order or anything! Then she began to carry on a personal conversation at the hostess stand, two feet away from us! A hostess is there to coordinate, at the very least she should have offered her assistance rather than a snotty explanation. We will NEVER go there again! We left immediately (well after 20 minutes of not being addressed) and went to the Mexican place down the street. What a disapointment!
- Pros: None
- Cons: , Cruddy outdoor chairs
Best Wine List in the City
by cornerwinebar1 at Citysearch
The Corner Wine Bar is not to be missed if you're into wine. They have the best selection in Indianapolis with well over 150 choices by the bottle, several by th glass and "flights" (samplers) of wine. Food is great too, and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. We like their monthly tasting events, too.
- Pros: great wine list, good value, moderately priced
Beautiful Vintage Bistro!

My wife and I eat at the Corner Wine Bar at least once a week and always enjoy ourselves. The service is always friendly and thoughtful. We love to sit outside and enjoy appetizers with our wine on their patio when we want to people watch. The Orange Roughey and the Steak au Poivre are our favorite dishes on the menu but the seasonal offerings should not be missed. We love this place and encourage you to try it! Ask for Mia or Anna to serve you...they are both lovely and very entertaining.
- Pros: service, food, wine selection
- Cons: long waits for table
FABULOUS FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE!

I eat here often and realized that each time is a great experience...thought I'd share my love of this quaint treasure. The crab cakes rock, the salads are always crisp and cold, the entrees have yet to dissapoint (try the Filet with Madeira Mushrooms!) The rotating desserts are always creative and exceptional. The food is always great at the Wine Bar but the courteous and knowledgable wait staff ties the experience together, always making you feel right at home. This place is great!
- Pros: great atmosphere, great wine list, creative specials
- Cons: usually a wait
