Great beer, good food, bad service
by slysmendersen at Citysearch
I formerly loved this restaurant for its great beer and unique vegan and gluten free menu options but the service has been so terrible recently that I doubt I'll return if I'm actually hungry. Should you go, you will certainly not be disappointed in the beer or food but expect to wait a LONG while to get anything to your table (even when they're not crowded).
Vegetarian/Vegan Friendly
by MalibuDoll at Citysearch
I know it may not be advertisted, but this place has a ton of vegetarian options, and the waitress I had actually knew what a vegan was. I ordered the Vegan Shepard's Pie which was delicious, and I am sure they could have veganized some of the other vegetarian entrees. This place is great for vegetarians because your friends can eat meat dishes here too. I did not try any of the beers, but my friend said they were amazing.
- Pros: vegetarian/vegan friendly, beer, atmosphere, service
- Cons: n/a
Great Food--Greaterer Beer!!!!!

I love this place! Always a friendly staff! Recommend Bison Burger or any one of the Vegan entrees.
GREAT BARTENDER

The inside of this brewpub is very cozy and the atmosphere is great! They have some great brews and will allow you to "taste" before you buy! Food is also very good and the service is great!!
- Pros: BEER, ATMOSPHERE, SERVICE
A Real Gem
by dogbrick at Citysearch
The inside of this brewpub is very cozy and intimate. They also have some interesting breweriana around.
The beer selection is not too bad, they have around 8 brews at a time, with a seasonal or two. The brews they do produce are all above average.
Contrary to some complaints, I found the service here to be just fine. Granted we were there for a late lunch so they were not busy, but the waitress we had was on the ball.
The food here is good too. They have lots of pub grub and interesting appetizers like Scotch Eggs. We had the nachos and they were more than enough for 2 and tasted excellent.
All in all this was a great find and I am happy we visited. It is only a short distance from downtown Indy and I would recommend a stop if you find yourself in the area.
- Pros: Great beers
This microbrewery and pub is so laid back that reading a newspaper at the bar is encouraged.

The Scene
Let the basketball goal in the parking lot be your first clue to the relaxed feel of this Monon Trail-side pub, where almost everyone wears a backwards baseball cap and khakis. Dark-paneled walls, a battered tin ceiling and nary a light bulb over 20 watts provide a fitting backdrop for all the heavy British food and glasses of stout.
The Booze
The place brews its own beer and it would be a shame not to sample a pint or two.
While You're There
Fish and chips, shepherd's pie and Scotch eggs set the stage for the Broad Ripple's star beer selection. Eggs can be requested hard-boiled, wrapped in sausage, breaded or deep fried and served with creamy garlic ranch dip.
