This mall is bomb.
by JSmith92
I like this mall alot. Especially the clear glass part of the mall where you look down at the cars and see everything going on around you. It's really cool. I love it. It's a huge mall. And a great place to go with friends. Whenever I go back to my hometown, this is the first place I wanna go!
- Pros: Really cool, a lot of things to do, rarely get bored.
Circle Centre Mall Parking
by ccampfie
To the person that doesn't know where to park downtown, and can't figure it out...those BIG SIGNS that say PARKING and point to the garages which are located underneath the entire mall, are where you are supposed to park! It can't get much easier than that! You say you can't figure out how to "navigate" the downtown streets, well, they are just like suburban streets, except some are one way! Again, just look for those BIG SIGNS THAT POINT AND SAY "ONE WAY". You must not get out much or go to other cities, like Chicago, to shop! Try finding a parking space or garage there that's anywhere near where you want to shop! You don't know how easy we have it here in Indy. This is not a big city! And it's very easy to navigate around it.
Really Neat Mall, BUT WHERE TO PARK???
by jodywilson
I have been to this mall only twice. It is so neat inside...what a unique mall and what a neat idea! But I don't know how it will survive (I'm frankly surprised it's lasted this long...probably a money pit for the owners). Those who might shop there include hoards from suburbs. But downtown Indianapolis is intimidating enough to drive in--especially given the low tolerance of other drivers for those who are not familiar with the area and who thus don't know 3-4 blocks in advance "which lane I need to be in" to get where I'm going (where is that???). And despite extensive searching on the internet, parking information and specifics about how to find parking are severely lacking. I believe that many like me who would love to visit the mall and the Artsgarden simply stay away because of this intimidation and lack of information.
It's too bad really. The mall has been open 10 years, yet still no information about how to negotiate the downtown area. If you would like to test this statement, simply get on the internet using your favorite search engine and look how few returns you get for logical search terms such as "Artsgarden parking" or "Circle Centre Mall parking" or "downtown Indianapolis parking". Granted you might get returns for that last one, but you don't know if you'll be walking a half mile to get to where you want to go. I would recommend that if the mall is to survive, and be profitable, they need to provide details to suburbanites about how to negotiate downtown and parking.
- Pros: Great mall, lots of variety, easy to access from hotels, etc
- Cons: Where do suburbanites park? How do you get there?
Shop, eat and walk around in one of the most architecturally interesting malls in the country.

In Short
Indianapolis' Downtown mall, anchored by Nordstrom and Parisian, teems with locals and tourists daily--and also nightly, thanks to its location, which is within walking distance of everything downtown. If and when you get tired of shopping and eating, stroll through the glass-enclosed Artsgarden over Washington and Illinois streets, which frequently offers free musical performances. Walk around the outside of the mall and notice the historic facades that enclosed downtown buildings of yesteryear.
