overpriced. family style with refills, but waiters conveniently forget to come back and refill you. food - was OK. Olive Garden is just as good. ambience is nice, it's homey, but it's packed, and I don't relish the idea of having people walking through the kitchen while my food is being prepared. catchy, but is it really healthy? service - good

atmosphere is great, like walking into a grandmas little italian restaraunt...the service has been very good both times i have been there. very friendly outgoing people. the food is ok. personally i like olive garden better. you don't get free salad or breadsticks here. in fact, if you want salad, you have to pay about $8, but this gives you a big one that serves about 4 or 5...there is this meat cheese and tomato salad, with big chunks of fresh mozzerella...pretty good, you have to like tomatoes though. this place's food is not really my taste, but you may love it.
- Pros: atmosphere, service
- Cons: expensive, ok food

Buca di Yakoh, I mean Pepo, has huge portions but no taste in the food. It seems that they have an 11 year old for a cook...it could even be compared to Bravo's or even Amalfi. Sorry that someone has decided this is number for Italian food in Indy. They are far from wrong or with a num bud taste and don't know the difference.

Buca di Beppo is everything but zesty

Although many people would disagree with me, Buca di Beppo is certainly not one of the better Italian restaurants in Indy. The restaurant is geared toward large groups and servings are enormous. The pasta is mediocre and the less said about the pizza. I would suggest it for parties. The ravioli is the best part about the restaurant.
- Pros: Big servings, Great social place
- Cons: Poor quality food, Loud

Amazing decorations, real Italy feel, the portions are HUGE, but you won't be sad when you have dinner for lunch the next day. Everyone deserves a Buca experience. At first glance the prices are high, but remember your ordering for two. I would recommend the House Salad and Macaroni Rossa. Two people can't eat it all, but like I said- you'll enjoy having it for lunch the next day!!!
- Pros: economical, savory, fun
- Cons: single dining a no
