Great place

This is a great place. I came with my family, including my daughters (5y, 3y, and 1 month) and they were very friendly. It was nice to have a good dinner and to know a different and pretty side of Indianapolis

Dishonest establishment!!
by twilhoit at Citysearch
This IS NOT NOT Maria's Pizza established in 1955!!!!!! This is a company trying to profit from that name!!!!! Maria's Pizza established in 1955 is LOCATED at 1106 Prospect and is family operated by Roy and Rhonda Cunningham. Antonio's and Marias should be ashamed for trying to capatilize on the history and foundation of the ONE AND ONLY MARIA'S PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would never recommend any establishment that would be this underhanded!!!
Great Place!

The "CONS" states Maria's is not yet opened. It IS, in fact, open and WOW! Great pizza, wonderful surroundings, good service! Kudos to Roy and his wife for making Maria's THE place on the southside (Fountain Square) for Pizza!
- Pros: Great Pizza, Great Service, Great Ambience
- Cons: There aren't any as far as I'm concerned!
Best Pizza in Indy!!!
by AV1112 at Citysearch
This place is now called Antonio & Maria's Old World Pizzeria. The owners, Antonio and Maria, are family of the original Maria who started Maria's Pizza in 1955. The pizza is even better than before ( if that is even possible!!!) It is definitely worth the trip.
- Pros: Homemade Pizza
- Cons: Limited Dine In

They're moving
by kcbranch45 at Citysearch
Maria's Pizza, a staple on Shelby St. for years, is relocating to the Fountain Square area. While they have always had great pizza, their bread sticks are to die for.
- Pros: Best Bread Sticks
- Cons: Temporarily closed whil moving
Unique Sauce......and Crust!
by rescueman at Citysearch
The key to any good pie, is the sauce, but, what a great crust Maria's have for the foundation.
The best pie are the ones that are tasty when cold. I would eat Maria's anytime of the day and be happy.
- Cons: No eat in dining.
pizza- pure heaven

Small, hometown pizza with a national reputation. Walls are covered with Hollywood stars, politicians pictures and guest signatures. Pizza is made with love and 100% pure cheese (thicker than anywhere else in Indianapolis). We live in Florida, but our first stop is always Maria's Pizza!
- Pros: Thick cheese, history of business, oldest original pizza
Forget NY or Chicago pizza Its Maria's Pizza!
by joejoe1210 at Citysearch
I have been eating Maria's Pizza since I was a little kid and it is without a doubt the BEST pizza I have ever had! I have lived in Chicago and they have GREAT pizza...and I have had those huge slices of New York pizza that are awsome...but to this day NOTHING can come close to Maria's...OK so its a little small.......but thats part of its charm.......My grandpa use to say if he dropped a Maria's pizza upsidown in the parking lot he would pick it up clean it off and eat it......its that good!
