Best Food
by Matthew1989 at Citysearch
This place is full of history and all family. My uncle told me about this place and I do love good home style Italian food and this was it. I got ravioli expecting tiny portions, no I got something better. One huge piece stuffed with the most amazing Italian sausage and cheese, it filled me up and the service was always on point, I love my sweet tea and my glass was never even half empty, if you want family history and a one of a kind place with beyond amazing food this is it.
Milano Inn is Amazing

Milano has roared back as an amazing place to dine. You have to vist and see what they have done with this place and the food remains as good or better. My new favorite place downtown Indy.
Cheap Buffet Quality Food, Next to Homeless Shelter
by TaxMan at Citysearch
The quality of the food is low. It compares a little less than Buca's and I think that Buca's is a lower quality food. Some of Milano's dishes are better than bad. Their calamari is pretty good! Their buffet is really horrible. The buffet is like eating bad hospital food. The building is next to a jail, a homeless mission, and right dab in the middle of a gheto blighted area. I have really wondered how they stay in business over the years. Every time I get dragged out to Milano's I am disappointed.
- Pros: Great Calamari
- Cons: Cheap Quality, Very Scary Area,
Outstanding Customer Service!

Milano Inn is an amazing restaurant plain and simple. The portions are enough to feed two people and the service is unmatched. The lasagna is the best dish hands down....truly unique.
Moreover, the atmosphere and Italian decor make the restaurant an amazing dining experience. The Milano Inn is an old-time Italian staple of Indianapolis and hopefully will be for years to come!
- Pros: Best lasagna in town
- Cons: None that I could find
It is DEFINITELY Italian!!!

This is the best place for Italian cuisine. Service is supreme and the food is out of this world. The only place I will take out of town guest for the best Italian in Indianapolis.
- Pros: easy to get to, plenty of parking
