I love everything at Grays from there homemade chicken and noodles to the best and only real butterstoch pie. You have never eaten somewhere so wonderful. The wait may be long but you can always get it to go. I use to eat Grays at least once a week, I would always get my chicken and noodles, homemade mashed taters roll and my pie and go back to the office and enjoy the wonderful food without the crowd.

Pros: I love it!!

Cons: Dont be a hatter!

I grew up in Indiana and have since lived in California and now Wisconsin. In my trek across the country I have not come across anything like Gray Bros. Cafeteria. Every trip home is not complete without dinner at Gray's. This is grandmas cooking at its very best. If you have small children, they have high chairs on wheels that you wheel through the line and then an employee waits for you at the end of the line and carries all of your food for you. Definately family friendly. It is worth the trip!

Pros: Great Value

Cons: Nothing!!!!!

I have been eating there for years and it only get better and better. Service is always great and food is outstanding. I grew up only a few miles from the resturant but unfortunatley no longer live in the area. All my relative still live in the area and I still come often to visit and go to Grays. I would not think of coming home to Indiana and not going to Grays. It is the best.

Pros: Average priced, good parking, sometimes crowded

I am a former Indiana resident who looks forward to returning to Gray's everytime I am in the area. They have the best chicken livers, green beans and butterscotch pie you can find anywhere. They just happen to be some of my favorites. They are very reasonable priced for the portions you receive.

Since being a child, I have frequented Gray Brothers. Locals all think of it fondly and travelrers come from miles around to stand in the long lines. Best to get there about a half hour from closing. The Oldsters have gone home and the line moves well. This is simply the best cafeteria I have ever encountered. Being in the military, I left Indiana behind years ago, but when I go back, I always stop at Gray's.

Pros: Pies, Fried Chicken, freshness

I don't know how anyone could say that this place is overpriced. 2 people can eat there easily for under $20.00 and the food is well worth it. As for people complaining about the long lines, that just goes to show how popular this place is. People drive from miles around just to eat here. If you don't like the food there is something wrong. It is wonderful.

Pros: Great Food, Cheap, Great Pies

Cons: , At, All

Gray Brothers, Cheap? No Way! It is a good cafeteria, but how in the world did it get into the cheap eats section?

Pros: consistent quality

Cons: overpriced

Anytime my family make the 15 hour drive to Indianapolis, no matter how short the stay, we always make time for Gray Brothers Cafeteria. I know of no-where else you can get wonderful home cooking at an extremely reasonable price! This has become a family tradition and one no one ever says, "no" to. I would have to say Gray Brothers is one of Indy's finest family eating establishments!!!

Pros: Inexpensive, Always Fresh, Wonderful Pies

Cons: Small wait in line

Great food. Reasonable prices. Pies are great, Coconut Cream, Peanut Butter and Strawberry are the best. Try their new Bloomington location at SR 37 and 2nd Street.

Pros: Good parking, Courteous Staff, Good Food

Cons: Long Lines

This is school cafeteria food straight from the can. No seasoning, no imagination, not served eye-appealing, tasteless, something my 12 year old could pour out of a can or open a box at home and be better! Even the PIES are nothing to write home about. Anyone saying this establishment is good has NO TASTEBUDS. Give me something GRAND besides the PRICE.

Pros: LONG LINES, TASTELESS FOOD, WAY TOO EXPENSIVE

Cons: TASTELESS FOOD, UNCLEAN DINING AREA, NO QUALITY
