I think this is a great place to eat.....but putting Carvers on this list of "The Best Steakhouses"....is like putting McDonalds here as well. I don't think so....
- Pros: Inexpensive, Good parking
- Cons: NOT A STEAKHOUSE!
A Night at Carvers

I was called by one of my former fellow employees a few weeks back in the early afternoon. He had recently hired his newly formed small business' third employee, and was interested in sharing his fortune with some of his closest friends. He asked if I would meet him and his new wife Becky at Carvers Restaurant in Greenwood that evening. I was more than happy to accept along with three other dinner guests. The experience we would ultimately have was nothing less than spectacular. Wonderful service complimented with soft lighting and steady furniture, and an over-all attention to detail that gave us an opportunity to forget about where we were but instead who we were with. Oh, but I forgot, the food was nothing less than perfect.
