Fantastic Brunch

THE best Breakfast/lunch buffet I have ever experienced in Indianapolis
- Pros: good service, great food
No longer exists as billed here...
by pwrmacjedi
I just called this place to confirm their hours for breakfast, and they basically no longer exist. According to the girl on the phone, "it's the same staff, but just relocated to the lobby". Not what I would call an exceptional breakfast spot in Indy. It's been tuned into just another lack-luster over-priced hotel breakfast buffet.
Pass on this and go to Le Peep. You can feed TWO PEOPLE at Le Peep for the price this place's new identity charges... $17 when I called.
I'm sorry... but there are very few breakfasts that would include the seafood, whole grain hand-made breads, non-processed foods, etc. to justify that kind of highway robbery.
- Pros: HAD a great review.
- Cons: No longer the same establishment.
Wonderful Staff

The Porch Restaurant provides great service along side great tasting, generously portioned food! Anyone who hasn't been should give it a try.
- Pros: Reasonably Priced, Great Service, Friendly Faces
This heightened breakfast and lunch experience is inside the Hyatt Regency.

The Scene
With a design inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, this casual open-air restaurant is perched high above the expansive atrium inside Indy's downtown Hyatt Regency hotel. Dark hardwood floors have small tables tucked tightly together inside the airy sky-lit dining room. Servers are attentive and well versed in menu details, but the leisurely pace in the kitchen may test a diner's patience.
The Food
Familiar American cuisine with a dash of culinary creativity makes for a lively menu that is as appealing to high-end hotel guests as it is to budget-conscious families. The lunch menu offers the most variety. A line-up of hefty sandwiches and oversized burgers compete against the all-you-can-eat pasta bar's array of steaming noodles and homemade sauces. The Porch rolls out its red carpet on Sunday mornings for an award-winning brunch.
