Great Place

The Fixx Hair Studio is a professional salon with a fun atmosphere. All of the stylists truly get along and help each other out. Michelle Cody is FANTASTIC if you're trying to grow your hair out, and she'll tell you if the cut/color you want isn't what you should do! I've recently moved from Indianapolis and I wish I could've moved everyone from The Fixx along with me!

Won't get a fix of customer service here

I called Fix to make an appointment with "Mari Lynn" at this salon and was scheduled for a time that a salon isn't usually open ( a sunday morning). I double checked with the receptionist "Chelsea" to make sure the stylist wanted to work on a Sunday morning and was given this big explanation about how they have to work this schedule and yes, she wanted to work this day. The day before the appointment Chelsea called to confirm the appointment again. Then late, on Saturday night, before the appointment Chelsea canceled and said she had made a mistake and was just going to move me to someone else ( a younger girl with little salon experience). Chelsea was RUDE and kept talking right over me. Wasn't humble or apologetic IN THE LEAST. When I finally exploded because she kept talking over me and she was so arrogant told her I didn't want to come to the salon because as a new customer they weren't making too good of an impression on me, she just said "That's fine with me".

This place seems like the new, hip salon in Boulder that's going to be hot for about 15 minutes until the too cool to care 20 somethings that staff the front desk and diva stylists are going to drive business away. I got the distinct feeling here that the stylist looked at her appointments for the next day, decided she wasn't going to be busy enough, and had the receptionist cancel all her appointments at the last minute because she didn't want to show up to work on a Sunday for a few customers. Totally unprofessional. Stick with your old salon. Don't pay a ton of money to be treated like you don't matter. If they can't get the appointment time right or can't bother to show up because you're the only customer on the book that day, do you think they're going to care about doing your hair well?

P.S. Don't believe the "stacked" written by employee reviews here...go over to Yelp to get some honesty about what this place is all about.
