The Volcano Room is cozy and warm, much like the late and lamented Music Box Cafe that was run by P.J. and Kathie, who now run this place. Maverick Recording artists Showoff are one of many notable bands to have graced the club's stage, and the venue helps the local scene grow by being available for rent at budget rates. The Volcano Room is located one block east of Rural, next to the Twin Aire Shopping Center.
