Carrie Haines - M - Thur 9Am - 4Pm; Fri 12 - 8Pm; Alternating Sat 12 - 4PmCarrie has just recently rejoined the true barbers team. she has had the desire to do hair since she was a little girl & has been in the business for going on 6 years. she has been trained by leading platform artists in the business & truly believes that you need the right cut, color, & product to fit your lifestyle. she pays close attention to detail, as well as being enthusiastic & a great listener. she also is a color & wax specialist to help polish off your desired look. to top it all off, she has no problem keeping up w/ the boys!
Greg Lilly - Tue 10Am - 7Pm; Wed - Fri 11Am - 7Pm; SatBarbering began for greg in 1995 under the tutelage of mr. john scott. while in school, studying professional ethics became a mainstay for him. after cutting his first low-profile flattop in preparation for the Indiana state exam, he developed a true desire for "the art of of barbering" - let alone the styling of hair. the skills he acquired have been extended to the salvation army adult rehabilitation center while an employee there. he has also rendered services at the convention center w/ indy homeless connect (2010) & homeward bound (2007) as a volunteer. needless to say, a true passion has developed for greg in becoming a tonsorial artist.
Larry Davis - Most Sundays; Fri 6 - 9Pm; Sat 8Am - 6PmLarry davis currently practices his passion for barbering on a part-time basis w/ us. his life experiences have been varied having been a chemist & a claims adjuster. he also enjoys playing trumpet, guitar & base in a jazz combo & also at his church. come in & see him Friday, Saturday or Sunday for a great haircut & a relaxing straight razor shave. the more experienced barbers on our staff will testify that larry has been an amazingly “quick study,” & a perfectionist in all aspects of barbering. his straight razor shaving techniques are among the best! excellent client satisfaction & retention are what larry davis is known for.
Melissa ElbelMelissa has a passion for excellence. She has always felt strongly that men need a place of their own, where they can relax & be comfortable getting the services they need. In order to enhance her clients’ experience, she provides an awesome stress relieving head massage & color services. She is diligent when it comes to updating her education & attending courses. She attended cosmetology school in the late 1980’s, where she studied all the concepts of hair. Pat is also a cosmetology instructor & attended dudley university for hair in north carolina where she furthered her education in barbering. Pat will tell you that making & insuring that her clients feel good before they leave her chair is the most rewarding part of barbering. Patricia's vast array of instruction & her 30+ years experience of pleasing her clients has made her a valuable member of the true barbers staff.

Sue Rinehart - Most Sundays 11Am - 4Pm; Mon 11Am - 7Pm; Th - Fri 5Pm - 8PmAs early as four years old, sue rinehart was interested in combing & fixing hair for people in her family. Over the last three decades, she has been perfecting & fine tuning her art of clipper, scissor, & razor cuts. Sue’s clients have come to expect a very relaxing & genuinely friendly environment from the moment they shake her hand until the minute they walk out the door. They also can expect a serious ear from sue in order to understand exactly what her clients are looking for. She is especially fond of returning natural color to any of her clients who desire a more youthful look. Upon completion of a client’s experience, sue highly recommends an invigorating scalp-massaging shampoo & relaxing hot facial towel.
Vernon Lee - Mon 10Am - 7Pm; W - Thur 10Am - 7Pm; Fri 10Am - 9Pm; 10Am - 6PmVernon lee has had a desire to cut hair since he was a teenager. he started practicing on himself & friends while in the army - that was funny. finally, he went to barber school in 1990 & then to cosmetology school in 1993. he worked in both trades for awhile, learning about the hair industry until 1997 when he worked under master barber - jack grigge who helped to hone vernon's skills in the craft. since then, vernon has cut hair in Indiana & ohio & formed a barbering service that catered to facilities for children & the disabled for seven years. his passion for cutting hair has developed to enable him to service all ethnic groups which has been one of his greatest strengths in his career.
