OCEANAIRE? JUST SAY NO!. Poor service - expensive - food was messed up by SR3429 at Citysearch Had lunch on Dec. 22 with large group. Waiter ignored us. Food was messed up - not right. Had a ketchup bottle explode all over a couple of people in the group which was hilarious but waiter was not so sorry about. Had to ask for the waiter multiple times and bring things to his attention such as refilling drinks, food was wrong and ordered coffee and was brought cup and cream but no coffee. Perhaps he was just having a bad day but for the price, it should have been so much better. Waiter did NOT adjust the bill for the all the problems. My opinion is that I will not be back. If I were to get a gift certificate, it would get sold on Ebay. On a scale of 0 to 5, I rate this place as a zero. However the bathrooms are really nice.

Pros: Bathroom

Cons: The list goes on - stay away12/23/09!<------------I'm with this guy!ღ(。◕‿◕。)ღ I HATED IT! Sat me at the very first table with my back to the door. Then we realized they were using us to make the place seem hospitable and not for rednecks. I was told; "business casual" I was waaaaay overdressed, yet the meals costs $28 for improperly cooked fish? Unfortunately for us we listened to his co workers *obviously poor paletes* & we've just returned from the Caribbean! Sorry suckers this isn't good fish. Especially for 30 bucks. The wait staff was deaf or inattentive, but dressed like Dr Giggles. Flip flops everywhere. Men in shorts and sandals. We deserved a discount for following the "suggested dress code" while making reservations. Shame on you Oceanaire for pretending to be a high class establishment. 1 Star.

Great seafood, incredible service. One of the bell persons at our hotel put us on to Oceanaire. It was so fantastic that we went back with five additional guests a second night. Those guests who love oysters raved about the selection and the quality. Their 8oz glasses of wine for a little more than the standard 4oz price was a delight. And, oh, the desserts! Over our two visits we shared the dreamsicle, the brownie, the strawberry shortcake and the stciky toffee pudding--all were delicious. Finally, the waiter, Michael of Chicago, makes the whole experience one of the most wonderful dining experiences I've ever had. Our guests the second time actually applauded him at the end of the evening.
