Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We had reservations for 2 on Christmas Eve, 2007, and were promptly seated upon arrival. The restaurant was packed to capacity, but our server was attentive - touching base often enough without hovering - and gave us excellent guidance in food selection. The ambience was festive - the table setting was fittingly upscale; there was a blend of happy, multi-generational families seated at large tables and couples at smaller, more intimate booths. The food was wonderful and served at a nice pace (we were neither rushed nor left waiting very long). This was absolutely everything that I could want in a Christmas Eve dining experience! The management did a great job of planning for and managing the large Holiday crowd.

I had first heard about McCormick & Schmick's because of their impressive bar area and happy hour selections and would love to return to experience that as well.

Average. We went to this restraurant on 7/20/07. It was nothing special. The service was good but the food was very average and overpriced. Will not go back. The bar was very nice and the interior of the restaurant was nice as well but none of the food was above average.
