Price and Professional

I found the company to be cost effective, It fit my budget plan. The movers to be polite and professional. The office staff Barb And Marilyn checked in on the progress of the movers through out the day. Was 7 hours but with everything said and done, The move went very well Chris and his crew worked hard and deserved the tip. I really did save money compared to the quotes from other companies.Thank you Chris and all the crew at Master Movers.

Glad I used them

I called the company and they sent a man to my home to do a visual. He gave me a fair price that I could afford being a single mom. I was scared but it ending up being a good day. The movers all very nice. I had no damage to any of my items. And the foreman Louis was the one of the greatest movers. He set up my 9-daughters bed right away and made sure they put things just where she wanted. Thanks guys you are the greatest movers ever. I can only say to people reading this I do not know of any company that has perfect reviews regardless of the nature of their business.

I think sometime you just have to take chance. Glad I did.

Damaged Furniture

Damaged Furniture -

Master Movers damaged three pieces of furniture during our move. They brought in the night stand without even strapping it to the dolly or coverning it and it fell face first on the concrete driveway. It has two big gouges in the top and the drawers do not open properly as they are bent. They also damaged my china hutch. They wrapped it except for one corner and that is the corner that got damaged. (I have pictures to prove everything). They damaged another bedroom suit with scratches and didn't even put it together, mirror, etc.

They didn't bring a big enough truck and just jammed in the furniture in the truck. They were slow and I can't prove it, but think they kept some boxes also.

I have been dealing with Chantel, who handles the insurance claims since the move in August, filled out the insurance paper work. I requested that we get it fixed ourselves with Gerdt's and still have not heard back from her. There is no way I would trust my furniture with them again! We wanted a rep to come out and look at the furniture that day when we moved, but no one came. We said we wern't paying until someone came out, but they said we had to pay, so we did.

i wish I could post the pictures. Definitely would not recommend and have horrible customer service! i guess the next step is court! Have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Beware.

last minute move

I have called master movers and spoke with barbara from the office. I gave her a list of my things i needed moved and from that she gave me a price, i was moving to california and included some packing for my beds, tv's, and other glass pieces i thought the price was good so i did book the move with her.

on the day of the move the crew showed up about 15 minutes late but they all did look very professional. they started with wrapping all my furniture and doing some off the packing for me.

when they started loading the truck they said i am going to have more weight ( i did have twice the amount of boxes ) which i did expect. i was given an estimate of $2936.23 by the end of the my actual price was $3625.49 i was not to happy about that but the service , my crew that came to my home, the office staff , customer service all thumbs up excellent company excellent service and my delivery did come 2 days late i was able to deal with that :) they kept in touch with me at all times if i had to move again i would for sure go with master movers

Best move in 4 years

I have originally went with another company that called me the day before my move to say that they were going to cancel me and they could not move me.

I then got in touch with master movers and spoke to a Barbara very nice and polite. I told her what happened to me and she said she would be able to help me and have a truck at my home the next day. She had asked for a list of the stuff i wanted to move then she told me it would take about 5 hours to complete my move.

Well when the men showed up at my home they told me it could run about an hour over form what Barbara told me i said fine. they looked very professional protected my carpet put my stuff on truck and into my new place in 4 1/2 hours i was shocked. they got done in less time they did charge me for some packing supplies for my glass tables i had 3 of them.

this actually was the best move i had in 4 years and will call Master Movers when i move again.

If you are thinking about moving i do recommend this company!!!!!!!!! Great customer service great service for t he money
