Editorial Review for Ted's Montana Grill – by Jennifer Olvera
In Short
Lots of mahogany, tin ceilings, metal crown molding and Arts and Crafts-style décor prevail at this casual, comfortable saloon, part of media mogul Ted Turner's domain. Beef and bison are king, and they're hand-cut on site. Other bites include beer-can chicken, bison prime rib and cedar planked salmon. For dessert, there's home-made cookies, Kahlua fudge brownies, Coke floats and strawberry shortcake.

This is the best place to eat on the North West side of Indy. Great burgers, so many choices. This is a 'green' restaurant using recycled items and eco friendly all around. I love buffalo meat and they have it in all kinds of forms. Fantastic chili, steaks, salads and meatloaf also all made with buffalo. Plus they have fish and chicken that is worth stuffing your self on. I highly recommend this to any one who likes meat. Go early like around 5 or 6 to miss the big dinner rushes and Friday is rib night with a great blue plate special.** good crab cakes to, but quite pricy ** The only fault I have is they need more desert choices or to switch it up some.
Pros: wide menu choices, mood, wait staff
Cons: Gets busy after 7 Thursday through Sunday

Good buffalo burger. Didnt know what to expect, but it tasted fine, not much different than a good cowburger. Table was a liitle dirty with a shrimp tail left in the sugar tray. Service was ok, nothing spectacular. Would go again for sure.
Pros: Atmosphere, seems stuffy, but it isnt.
Cons: Food is nothing spectacular
