Was ignored by staff, blown off by artists, Over priced. I have received a tattoo @ the south side location in the past. While not overly impressed with the service, the work itself was good enough that when getting my second tattoo, I went to the same name if not the same location. We were ignored for about 20 minutes by the staff. When someone did speak to us, he was dismissive and had little information regarding the pricing or artists availability. While I understand the fluid nature of the business, the first rule that should be followed in any situation where you are providing a service dependent on your reputation, is to at least offer information if you cannot meet the customer expectations. We were told no appts were made over weekends, and to arrive at open to receive first come/first service the following day. We arrived before the door opened only to see several staff members arrive late, then told they were 'all booked up with appts' and to come back several hours later to 'see if anyone would be available'. No offer of an appt, no explanation as to why other appts were made when service is 'first come/first serve', nothing except sitting and waiting for other artists to arrive, then ignore us. Needless to say, we left. I will not offer my money to those who are not willing to earn it by treating me with the respect any customer deserves. I found another shop willing to work with us at half the quoted price and infinite more courtesy and service. I would suggest to anyone looking for a good experience go elsewhere, and to find an artist willing to spend time working with you on a piece you will be wearing for the rest of your life. Body art should be respected, and be a positive experience for YOU and not viewed as an inconvience by your artist. Don't let yourself feel as if you are being held hostage by artists and studios such as this that are being crushed by thier own egos and couldn't care less about your individual experience.
