In Short – Scottish flags and James Bond (aka, Sean Connery) and "Braveheart" posters line wood-paneled walls, while dark-wood furniture dots the room. A Scottish chef prepares traditional dishes, like steak pie with mashed potatoes and turnips in thick gravy, sausage rolls and shepherd's pie. If you can't stomach the haggis, there's plenty of American fare, from burgers to chicken. Young professionals gather for lunch, but at night, locals gather around the bar to hoist some brews.
Horrible hospitality
by bbeargirl
A group of friends met for dinner. The server was delightful and the food was good. When another group of friends arrived to join us, the hostess very rudley told them they were not welcome. When a member of our party tried to talk to her the hostess and manager called her a bxxxx. We were talking to some people at another table and were told we weren't allowed to talk to anyone at other tables. The manager bad mouthed us the whole time we were there and told us we could leave before we got our food but we had to pay for it. We were not loud or rude at any time. I will never go into that place again and I will make sure all my friends stay away also.
- Pros: good food
- Cons: rude hostess and manager
