As soon as it opened, this bakery became the place for pies in Indianapolis..
In Short
Starting in southern California 30 years ago--with its famous Black-Bottom pie, featuring layers of chocolate and vanilla pudding--Mama Bear's is now an Indianapolis business specializing in pies. There are two sizes, large and mini, as well as slices. Baking is done in its Eastside bakery and trucked to this location, which opened last year across from the Fashion Mall. The cafe serves sandwiches and wraps.
