DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!.
Since it opened, we had been loyal customers until now for many reasons. First, the quality of the food and service have dramatically deteriorated. Second, on our second to last carry-out order from them, one of the meals was below average and did not have everything in the box. So, we thought it may have been an innocent mistake. We promptly called to let them know, and one of the girls (English speaker) was very apologetic, polite, and offered us the same meal for free the next time. The third and final straw for us was when we ordered carry-out again and asked to redeem the complimentary meal. The assistant manager took the order, was very impolite, rude, and not too happy about having to redeem the complimentary meal. When we took our carry-out order home, the complimentary meal was fine and in order, but the other meal was substandard and inedible. It contained fatty, VERY FATTY PIECES of UNDERCOOKED meat; and we have no doubts that this was INTENTIONALLY done. (We are familiar with the Asian business culture b/c we ourselves are Asian, and they only care about making as much money with little or no overhead; and they don't like complaints.) It made us so sick that we, fortunately, saved the leftover pieces of meat, and we are in the process of reporting them to the local OSHA department downtown. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT if they know you have complaints! This is not a joke. The people who own or have stock in the restaurant seem to be very greedy and vindictive. The servers are generally very friendly, so it's a pity that they work for such greedy bastards.
Great menu, nice ambience.
My husband and I went here for our Valentine's dinner (2/14/07). Everything was perfect. Plenty of menu choices for even the pickiest person. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was romantic. I'm glad I tried the Bulgoki salad. I look forward to eating lunch here in the near future. If I had to complain about something, it would be the water that automatically came with our other drinks. It didn't tast too great.
best sushi in indy.
it's about time some of the tired sushi places in indy got some competition! after eating sushi all over the world and literally right out of the ocean, i am continually amazed at the freshness of the sushi at tchopstix. atmosphere reminds me of the trendy little sushi joints in San Francisco, but amazingly, with MUCH better sushi! the service has been slow and untrained in the past, but in the last year, i have seen a huge improvement. however, its one of those places that even if the service is slow, i'll keep going back for the food!
Most Unique Sushi in Town.
This place is the most unique place in Indianapolis. Upbeat and bright with extensive menu ranging from Chicken Teriyaki to Sea Urchin Nigiri. Lunch Boxes are great value for lunch. For a different type of sushi, you need to try the Maui Roll. Entirely different from any other sushi experience.
Something for Sushi lovers and non Sushi lovers both.
