Disappointment. My wife and I had dinner Sunday night, August 15, and El Sol de Tala, since we'd had very positive experiences there for many years before. Not this time. My wife ordered two different vegetarian dishes only to have the waitress come back each time to say they weren't available. The one that did come was too salty. In addition, the service was very slow. This falls far short of the standard we've come to expect of El Sol.

expected more from reviews. After researching online reviews for 'best Mexican' in Indy, we made our way downtown on a Sunday evening. The experience was disappointing all around: inattentive service, lukewarm food (the hostess reheated, as the waiter hadn't checked back), and the quality of the food otherwise was average. We'll move on and try others.
