I have 2 jobs that make me susceptible to back and neck problems. I spend a majority of my week days at a computer. On the weekends I play guitar and sing in a local rock band. The pressure from my
guitar strap coupled with my poor sitting and standing posture developed a knot in my left levator scapula ( shoulder blade) that caused me a great deal of discomfort. The muscles in that area were always flexed and I could not relax them. This stress spread along the nerve line up to my neck and down my back.
