Bad Experience. live very close to this bar so me and my husband visit at least once a week the owner is friendly and serves us good drinks. Recently a blonde woman who works Saturday nights was working and was very rude she did not want to start me a tab unless she held a credit card which I found was intimidating and offensive being that we have been there often and even had her serve us before . Another customer comes in and she immediately starts a tab for him (white) We are black just a hint. To top that he turns and asks my husband should he start ducking which we thought was a very offensive statement to make. He then felt we should not be in the bar and called the police which came in stood for awhile and didnt see anything wrong so the police left and we did too. I really had liked this spot until the other night we were treated so wrong by the bartender that we will just find another spot to have a drink and a good time I hope this reaches the owner because we should all be treated equally oh and I did not tip her last Saturday night.

Which was 9/17/2011 around 11:00 pm I really liked this bar to but the bartender and customer wants it to be a whites only bar. sad just sad.

Especially when the police are called for no reason we were not out of control we were not drunk we just stopped in like we do ofen to have a drink. The one customer was very rude when he asked my husband soon as he sat down should he start ducking I mean really why would you say that we dont carry a weapon we are citizens just like you we dont even carry ourselves or look like we carry weapons so the only reason we could think he said that and called the police was to get us out the bar because we were black and he did not want us to sit next to him and the bartender knew we were not a threat but still sided with the customer once again because WE ARE BLACK.
