Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
Down Under is Great. Great steak for the money. The sauce with the ribeye is outstanding. Always a wait, but worth it. The soup is a great substitution for the salad. The wait staff is very attentive to refills. Fosters on tap is cold and frosty.
Beef. Outback is great for anyone. Steak, seafood, pasta or salads all are wonderful! Fun atmosphere, great service & great bar. Whenever I get a taste for a thick, juicy, flavorful steak I head to Outback!
Great Food. Outback Steak House always has a great seasoned steak. Staff will do anything to make your visit a good night out. Prices are good and you can count on same quality service at any location.
We're crazy about it!.
The Outback is almost always our choice for a night out. We really love the blooming onion and cheese fries. I also enjoy the spicy peppery flavoring the grill their steaks with. The service is always excellent and friendly.
You do however usually have to wait for a table sometimes up to an hour but it's worth it!
Cheap Steak, Great Food. When I say cheap steak, I mean cheap steak, cheap prices that is. Outback steakhouse offers decent prices for steak and it could compete with such big Indy names as Ruth Chris and St. Elmos. Although the ambience isn't nearly as good as St. Elmo's, you get your dollar's worth and will definitely leave with a smile on your face. Warning: Bloomin' Onions just don't seem to turn out good in Indianapolis based Outback Steakhouses .
Terrible.
This was the worst steak have ever paid for....
45 dollars to receive cold overcooked food with poor service. The manager did not even seem to care
Char's Best. The Outback Steakhouse is atmospheric, fun, busy, worth waiting for. Always a top choice to go out with friends.
