Great Haircut. Just want to brag on my stylist, Laura Costin. The first time she cut my hair I ran into her boss about a week later. Her boss took one look at me and said, "Wow, your hair looks great. Where'd you get it done." I laughed and said, "Your place, Blades. Laura Costin did a great job."

Went in for my second haircut with Laura right after Christmas. Last Friday I had dinner with my family. My brother, who never notices anything personal, said, "You know, your hair looks really nice."

Thanks, Laura. And thanks, Blades. You guys rock!!

Rhonda is the best. Rhonda has been cutting my hair for many years. I trust her skill and expertise. I have been known to walk in and just say "I'd like something different." I trust Rhonda to come up with something that works for me. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Rhonda Danks. Hi - I have been going to Rhonda Danks for several years now. My color and cut has always been superior. People stop me on the street to ask me "who does your hair". Of course, I send them to Rhonda and they are forever thankful.

Not only is she highly experienced and professional, she has a great personality!

Rhonda Danks. Love!!! Hair cut, color, and Rhonda are three things that I just love about Blades Hair Design. I've gone to Rhonda for over 15 years and she is a knowledgeable hair stylist that is very personable. She listens to what I want and suggests new things to me with a friendly and comfortable attitude. I've really enjoyed going to her over the years at Blades and don't know what I would do without her. So if you are looking for a stylist that can do what you ask for or even something new and innovative then pick Rhonda Danks because she excels in both.

Laura Costin. I was looking for a sophisticated and stylish up-do for a formal event and Laura styled my hair perfectly for the occasion. Most importantly my hair stayed in place all night without having a head full of bobby pins. Laura used Aquage Hairspray (which I love!) and everything stayed in place perfectly..even after hitting the dance floor pretty hard!! Laura really listens to what you want, but if you are open to suggestions too, she's had many years of experience and is very good at bringing out the best style for you. I've been going to her for years and her haircuts, color, and styles are the best. You can trust that she will give you a new look that you will love!

Angela Barber Baltz. I decided to get a bikini wax but did not know of any locations that did bikini waxing. One day, I was driving on Bash Street and saw Blades Hair Design Studio so I decided to check it out. I made an appointment with Angela (she does the waxing and other services). When I went in for my appointment, her work area was very clean and organized. Angela was very friendly and she made me feel comfortable. She explained what she was going to do and notified me that she has many years of experience. The end results were GREAT! She really knows her trade well. I have my next appointment scheduled and I highly recommend her.

Amanda Kniffin. It has been almost two years since my first visit to Amanda and I have never been happier with my hair(and I am very picky). Having tried many stylists over the past fifteen years, I have had some bad experiences.Dried out hair,dull , brassy color,or too blond.Since Amanda has been taking care of my hair I get compliments all the time.Total strangers ask where I have my hair done. People never believe that I'm not a natural blond. My hair is shiny and healthy. Amanda takes her time ,she listens, and makes me feel as if I am her only client. I hope I never have to find someone else because it would be hard to top her. Amanda is a real pro.

Lisa Lamb. I have been a customer of Lisa's for over 8 years. I actually followed her to Blades when she left her previous employer. I would not even think of going to anyone else for my monthly cut and color! I have very stubborn gray and she not only completely covers my gray but works her color magic to make my hair look the best it ever has! It is a great working relationship between the two of us. I get compliments from co-workers and complete strangers about my cut and color. I would not even consider going to anyone else. Only Lisa and I know what my true color is and we aren't telling anyone! Go see Lisa! You will be so glad you did!

Lisa Lamb. 5-star A+++++ Highly recommend Lisa Lamb. I moved to Indy approximately 4 months ago and my search for a new stylist is over! I had a really good first experience at Blades. Lisa took a lot of time with me and I love my haircut. Have been getting compliments at work. The salon is nice and conveniently located close to Fishers and Castleton area. Have already booked my next appointment and looking forward to Lisa's expertise in coloring and highlighting. I feel like a brand new me!

p.s. to the person who wrote the 1-star review with the headline "no return=no customer". I also called the first number and left a message. Then, after reviewing the website at bladeshairdesign dot com, decided to call Lisa's extension directly and she immmediately called me back. I am so glad that she did. My advice to you - view the website, choose your stylist, and call them again. Definitely worth it.

no return call=no customer.. Based on the reviews on this page, I called Blades for an appointment last week. As their message said, if this is your first time to Blades, leave a message for the owner....

Well, I did that, and never received a call back. Finding a new salon is frustrating enough without having them ignore you right out of the gate. Sorry, Blades, your loss.
