to much to eat roll me out – food is ok a lot of meals on menu to choose from the food is served fast to your table and alot of it my fav is the ham steak ps you might want to share your plate to much for one person some times
Hog Slop Heaven – To those of you that gave this place a great rating and caused me to eat there; Are you crazy? Don't get out much? Is this Okie Chic? Yeah, lot's of food at low prices, but it's hog slop. Low class place, low class patrons, grungy yet friendly wait staff (that's probably too fancy a word), waitresses, OK? If your tastes run to a better class of food than truck stops and gas stations, avoid this place at all costs!
Manns Grill is the best – GOOD FOOD Great price really nice people and your belly full should I say more.I have a good time and eat well and still have money in my pocket. If you have never been there go there you will always come back for more.If you have to wait for a table or a spot to park its worth it.You will come back for more.I have been going there 3 times a week on days some times 5 days if I have the time, everyone should give Manns a try
manns's grill – I travel 62 miles one way for their great breakfasts and tenderloins. First introduced to them in 2003 by by indy-native husband. Only drwnback is the limited parking lot size. But that doesn't stop me from going there when I am in the area.--I'll wait for a parking spot!!!
Mann's Grill – I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!Great breakfast Great dinner,NOT just a hole in the wall who ever opened this place new what they were doing. The food is to die for and cheap and LOTS OF IT.The pies and fudge will make your tonge keep coming back for more.I dont care how it loooks inside,my belly is full when I leave and my wallet is still fat.Everyone should dine in or carry out it is worth it :-) Try the turkey and swiss steak and the tenderloin o m g you will love it.
Best place to fill my teenage boys. (5) – My truck driver husband took me here. The portions are BIG. The food is like my family makes. If you want to watch the fat they make good salads. (big) Turkey is good. Lots of different menu items. I feel comfortable here. No needs to put on heirs. Just be yourself. It is a very friendly place. I would like to see some of the waitresses were alittle more clothes since I do have teenage boys and a husband. But I love it there. Waitress are great personalities. Peanut Fudge is to DIE FOR. Keep on doing great. I drive from Crawfordsville just to eat there. Your Great.
Locals flock for home-cooked meals served in large portions at cheap prices at the hole in the wall eatery. – In Short
Located near the Chrysler building, the restaurant caters to automotive industry workers and families looking for fresh meals in ample portions. Prices at the no-frills restaurant are affordable where dinners average out at $5.50 per plate and sides cost $1.18 each. Inside, green and tan booths as well as tables and stools make up the interior. The restaurant has a brick and black lantern façade but there's no hiding the eatery's old age. Good food and fair prices draw guests in.
Tons of comfort food – This is a wildly popular place with a large menu of comfort foods: beef and turkey Manhattans, chopped steak, lasagna, meat loaf. And sides like macaroni and cheese, pea salad, Jell-o and coleslaw. Every meal costs $6, including tax, and includes an entree and two sides. The portions are ENORMOUS.
That being said, the food is far from exceptional. The coleslaw was a soupy mess, and the macaroni and cheese was little more than macaroni mixed with melted Velveeta. The green beans tasted as if they had merely been heated directly from the can. The turkey, on the other hand, was very well prepared and the roast beef Manhattan was acceptable.
The popularity of the place is obviously because of the ratio of portion size to meal cost and not the quality of the meal itself, and certainly not the atmosphere. It is definitely a hole in the wall, and it looked as if they rarely even vacuum the floor. We had to ask for silverware, and then ask again for a knife, since they provided only forks. The side dishes, and most of the drinks, are served in styrofoam cups.
Probably worth a visit to see what the fuss is about, but I doubt I would ever return.
A++Best Value in town. – Fast, frendly service. Great choice of Home Cooking. Well worth the trip. The BEST homemade peanutbutter fudge you will find ANYWHERE. Also, the best prices anywhere in town.
Great food at a good price – I have been going to Manns for years I am 35 and remember going as a kid. The food is great the service is good and the price is good. I wouldn't take a date there. But after we got to know each other and we got past the getting to know you stage I would take them there for the food.
