Amazing experience, amazing hair! – I choose to go to DL Lowry on the recommendation of a neighbor. I recently moved to Indianapolis from Manhattan and had very low expectations, but was completely surprised by the Team at DL Lowry. My stylist, Lucy must be the friendliest person I know and her ability to turn her talent into a tool for inspiration was absolutely amazing! I was also amazed with her assistant Todd. He made me feel completely at home, providing starbucks coffee, magazines and a head massage that puts my New York experience to shame.
I would (and have) recommend DL Lowry to anyone searching for hair nirvana. They've definitely made me feel more at home in Indianapolis.
Long time Customer – I have been going to DL Lowry's for many years now. I took a brief hiatus when my stylist left, but came back after going to another local salon (having had a bad experience). I have had consistently fun and stylish hair styles from Shawn at DL Lowry. It may be a bit expensive (typically 150$ for my shoulder length hair, cut and color) but it is worth the price! I would recommend to anyone looking for a new salon.
Overpriced and snobby – I have been to several Indy/Carmel area salons, ranging from the mall salon to a high-end boutique. With the range of services and prices that DL Lowry offers, you would expect the cream of the crop performing magic on your mane. Apparently my expectations were a little high. I had severe problems with my hair and so I called my stylist, Megan. I left countless messages and never heard back. I will never go back. Yes, the salon is pretty, but the people and prices sure aren't.
Most professional salon – I have been to more salons in Indianapolis than I can count and this salon is the best, hands down. Book an appointment with Wendy.
Don't believe the hype! – I recently moved here from the west coast.Needing to find a new stylist,I asked around a little and was refered to DL Lowry. From a first glance it seemed cute but small(old location).Very cramped to be exact! The stylist who did my service was nice, but not skilled.I was not happy with my hair at all!I who have paid as much as $400.00 for my hair was a little shocked at the almost $300.00 bill. There are better salons with lower prices in the Indy area!!!!
