I have gone to this salon since 2003, when I got married and moved to Indianapolis. I cannot say enough good about this salon. Over the years as stylists might change I have always been notified by and given an equally great stylist. I love Audrey who has been doing my hair for a few years and Andie who does my eyebrows and other facial items. Also my stepdaughter who lives out of state has her done, when she visits. Everyone treats her like she comes every week. I love that and so does she. We love DL Lowery.

Tried and True. I've gone here on and off for a long time and I always return. I see the same stylists working there for many many years, and the training is excellent. They teach their stylists way more than any other salons I've been to. My hair is wavy and frizzy, it always looks good and the haircuts last a long time. Best salon in Indy in so many ways!

I loved this salon! My stylist, Corey, was great at cutting my hair! He also is very lively and fun, and talked to me about things I was interested in, not just talking about my hair! No one would be disappointed!

Doesn't meet Great Clips Standards! Awful. I expected a lot for a $260 color and moisiturizer treatment. What I got looks like it came out of a bottle. When I booked, I asked if they used a specific great color product, I was lied to. When my scap started to really tingle, I found out they changed the dye they use to a much lower priced product (no decrease in price for the client thought)..Over a week later, I am still having an allergic reaction to their product. They tell me they made a "business decision" to move to a lower priced color product. Works for them, not for me.I couldn't possibly recommend this place regardless of the talent they say their stylest have!. Ugh!

Worst salon I have EVER been to... DL Lowry is hands down the worst salon I've ever been to. Hopefully the stylist I had the misfortune of going to, Brandy, has been fired. She should be banned from touching, or even looking at hair ever again. She was insincere, didn't listen, did a horrible job on my hair, and lied through her teeth when I complained to the manager. The manager was equally insincere and rude, and of course, took the stylist's side. If you want to go to an extremely overpriced, pretentious, and overrated salon, DL Lowry is for you!

Best Salon in the Midwest. I have gone to a couple other salons locally (Salon 01, Mary and David, Bobby Cooper) but they cannot compete with DL Lowry. I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the front staff. Audrey is fabulous. She listened to what I would like to have done to my hair and then exceeded my expectations. Thank-you for opening the best salon in the Midwest in Indianapolis.

Not impressed. I'm new to the area and was excited to go to this salon since I'd heard good things about it--what a let down. Maybe it was just the stylist, Brandy, but not only did she cut WAY more hair off than I'd asked, I really felt like she was uninterested in building a relationship with a new client. I won't bother going there again--definitely one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had. But as a positive, it led me to Salon O1 and I ADORE my stylist over there!! Skip D L Lowry (or at least Brandy!!) and save yourself some hassle!

The only place I will ever go!. I love this salon. It is absolutely gorgeous and super nice staff. I've been going for years and I go to any stylist. I love Katie ( Tall, red headed girl) she is awesome and fun! The owner David is really quiet and polite! I reccommend this place to anyone. Although the rates are higher than normal but they are totally worth it. You really do get what you pay for. Including an awesome shampoo massage!

Great Service, Great Style. Having lived throught the country and experienced a bevy of salons, I'll say I'm completely satisfied with DL Lowry. My long-time stylist Elsa is fantastic, both in terms of skill and personality. Furthermore, the spa employees are professional and talented. -- Yes, the prices are higher than the norm. However, I won't go anywhere else. You get what you pay for!
