The Scene
This locally owned business has blossomed into four locations, mostly on the north side of Indianapolis, with plenty of helpful staff and many bountiful aisles for browsing. Indoor shops stock everything from seeds to garden tools, not to mention lawn frogs that complement the extensive outdoor greenhouses and product displays. Whatever you need for your lawn or garden, Habig has it in stock or will order it for you.
The Goods
Habig offers deep selections of houseplants, flowers, trees, shrubbery, books and garden supplies. Prices here may be higher than those at the local discount chain stores, but the shop offers green-thumb quality and more extensive selections. Thorough customer service and local delivery services are two things shoppers have counted on for the 50 years it has been in business.
