Mo knows Steak. The service was flawless; very detail-oriented. The owner stopped at our table and talked to us which made us feel special. The bread pudding is amazing!
Great service, great food.. This place is a winner! Service was excellent and wait staff could not have been nicer. Busy Saturday night but had no trouble with service and hardly any wait after ordering! Every time I asked for something, a blink of an eye later and it arrived. Fantastico!
Mo's is not A Place For Steaks. Went with a party of 6, service was good but the food was cooked badly and cold. The steaks arrived at the table looking and tasting like they were cooked on a cheap George Foreman grill! The resturant was very noisy due to hard floors, large open seating, and tall ceiling. One could not carry on a normal converstion with someone across the table. Not what you would expect for a upscale resturant, very disappointing.
Business Travel.
For Business, Mo's is a great place to dine with clients and guests. The restaurant has a professional and upscale feel. Service is impecable. I especially enjoy the touch Mo's provides if you get up to use the rest room. Waiting for you when you return is a fresh napkin.
The Steaks at Mo's have always been top quaility. After 5 visits I have yet to be dissapointed. Side dishes are great with many varieties and the multiple types of table breads are fantastic.
Unlike other Steak restaurants in Indianapolis, Mo's dose not pressure you to eat quickly. They let you eat and dine at your own pace - which is refreshing.
This is a very consistent restaurant that prides itself in it's personnel and it's product.
One negative - Mo's can get a bit loud on Week ends. Accoustically they should do something to minimize the noise level.
Bad Sevice; Noisy. Most aspects of the environment are very unpleasant especially for the menu prices. The piano music is everything but soothing as a result of the horrible percussion in the building which echoed the piano music, the conversation of the customers and the radio which was projecting from low clarity wall mounted speakers. The service was also disappointing.... Our waitress had a helper to assist her with our six person party, yet we were ignored for about fifteen minutes when trying to order our entrees in the non-crowded restaurant at 10:30pm. Our request to lower the radio music was rudely ignored, and we were wrongly informed of how our food was to be prepared. The staff held loud conversations and were not very welcoming. Unfortunately, the 18% gratuity was automatically taken into account on the bill so poor service still received a nice tip.
speedway. I had the distinct pleasure to have had a great steak, appetizers, wine and excellent service the night prior to the Indianapolis 500. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for over 25 years and know what a fine dining establishment has to do to be really good and they are just that.
waitstaff overload. We went for a quiet dinnerdate. The waitstaff was constantly at our table. If I took one sip of water, they were pouring more. If we took out one piece of bread they came back, counted what we had removed and replaced it. I am all for good service, but there IS a limit. I am also capable of reading my own menu.
