Shelby Street Diner/Eat At Joe's. One of the best secrets in Indy! If one is at all nostalgic, this place will rock your boat. It is reminiscent of the 1950s Rock 'n Roll era with it's fabulous music collection playing in the Juke Box, Coke 'a Cola, Betty Boop to Elvis Presley, Thunderbird to 57 Chevy, etc memorabilia! Simply reading the menu is worth the visit! The burgers, fries and onion ring tower can match any of the best in Indy...and the price is "way better!" If located closer to the newly renovated areas in Indy, the wait line would be a mile long!

unique. it's exceptional! the kids really enjoy the food too. it's a great change from your everyday fast food or fancy restaurant and it's a friendly atmosphere. the more you go the more you get to know a few regulars and it's like having lunch with friends everyday.
