Weebles Review. In a distinctive tune by Little Feat called Spanish Moon, there was a similar parallel made in describing a bar of this nature. That song made you want to go there and envision the atrocities that lurked there in. I think Mr. Earlywine's description and review of Weebles brings a unique curiousity to those who might become potential patrons. The fact that there are RUMORs of the owner being a former madame adds even more mystique, and certainly demands respect for Meena, from those who intend to patronize Weebles. This review should be taken in the context is was given, simple and direct. Being a patron myself , I can say that the waitresses are very attentive, and courteous, drinks are good, as well as the music.

retraction/revision. I would like to post a revision to my original and anonymous post, because I cannot edit it. There are many things I actually like Mena and didn't think a mention of her being a retired madame would bother her. Mention of it is very common at Weebles and has never been controversial. Though she never seemed to dispute or be offended by mention of this in the past, it was the key subject matter when she called me tonight threatening me with legal action. I would like to revise "retired madame" to "tooth-and-nail old woman".

I'm surprised to have received a threat of legal action, given that the review I left wasn't _that_ bad, compared to what it could have been. I didn't mention people's cars frequently being broken into, the poor-quality karaoke microphones, or the occassions that I have received food that tasted like it ought to have been thrown out instead of served to me. I thought it wasn't _that_ bad of a review.

Wow. a story of five crackheads.. So I've heard from my friend who works at Weebles that it's gotten better, and how my negative review may be somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy (when good people stay away from a place, all that's left are the crappy people). So I figure I'll post a retraction, because hey, my best friend has nothing but good things to say.

..and then I learn that my friend drank there just last week, and five crackheads from next door were working her over, trying to intimidate her into giving them her money.. and they were waiting outside in the parking lot when she left. She had to be escorted to her car.

.. and then I recall that just recently some shady 'escorts' from next door and some 'thug' guy went left with a newcomer and went to his house, and he was shot and killed that night in his home.

I feel like my retraction was not well-founded, and I apologize for making it so thoughtlessly. There should be some kind of public service warning about this place. If my previous review was slanted such that it showcased only the bad of Weebles, well the bad is pretty bad. There used to be alot of great people there, but the only one I know of now is my best friend who still runs the karaoke show on Fridays.

good times here. No so hot by jle2009 was written by an ex-regular who was barred from Weebles indefinitely, so consider the source when reading his review.
