What People Are Saying About Victory Field

In Short – Victory Field opened in 1996, replacing the Indians' previous ballpark, Bush Stadium (a mini Wrigley Field) with one more like Baltimore's Camden Yards--modern amenities, a retro look. Here's a suggested evening: Get to the ballpark around 6pm, grab a brat, Tribe fries (thick-cut fried potatoes) and your favorite beverage, take your seat and enjoy the Indianapolis Indians taking on that day's opponent. Or take in a day game: It's not heaven, but it's darn close.
Editor's Tips
- What to Drink:
- You can bring a cooler to the ballpark if you sit on the lawn beyond the outfield fence.
- Where to Sit:
- Although seats are assigned, when it's not crowded, you can move around and watch from a different vantage point
