Walking into Krieg Brothers is like taking a trip back in time. With few exceptions, it has remained virtually unchanged since I first shopped there as a kid in the early 70's. One thing is for sure - whatever Catholic or religious item you're looking for - they will either have it or know how/where to procure it for you. An enjoyable place for serious shoppers as well as people who simply like to snoop around atmospheric old bookstores. I find it to be fascinating on several levels and downtown treasure I hope will never go away.

Krieg Brother always go that extra mile to assist you in your purchasing, however the white haired gentleman could benefit from some race relation classes. I am a black christian woman minister and he always manages to treat me like he expects me to say this is a stick up . In many ways I find this to be funny, because he works for God and don't trust Him to protect him.

This store has so many religious items. You'll definitely find what you are looking for here. The staff is very strange but don't let that scare you away. They are downtown so you'll have to pay to park. Worth the trip.
