Editorial Review for Jillian's – by Michele McCole Moss & Julia Spalding
The Scene
This self-proclaimed "dining-and-entertainment megaplex" not only contains a 19,000-square-foot game room, glow-in-the-dark bowling, big-screen sports casts and a disco called the Groove Shack but, there are two restaurants as well.
The Food
The Habachi Grill is a rock and roll version of a Japanese steakhouse. Before you know it, you'll be wearing a goofy hat with the chef flicking hot shrimp into your mouth. All the meals (steak, seafood, or chicken) come with rice, soup, salad and veggies. The Video Cafe serves tender Yankee pot roast, a zesty Southwestern chicken salad, and lots of nachos, burgers and pizza. Word to the wise: It's easy to overload on the multi-colored tortilla chips and tasty fresh salsa.

I've been to jillians 3 times, all three times i was made to feel like i wasn't their preferred clientel, maybe its the dress code (strictly enforced) or the fact that i tend to enjoy less flashing lights and buzzers. The Food is slightly more expensive than surrounding pubs, and the drinks are too. Plenty of games, on multiple floors, separated from the darker more pleasant bar on the first. Everyone working there usually seems to have there mind set on giving their crowd a great exprience. Good place to waste some time, money, goofing off. Usually younger crowd, and i've had problems with overly invasive security.
Pros: lots of games, right downtown
Cons: Pay to Park, Over Anxious Security, Expensive
