DO NOT use for your venison sausage or jerky

I read the reviews and have had meat from Claus's so, i decided to give them a try with some venison.

Now, I have 26lbs. of some of the worst summer sausage and venison jerky, in my life. They both taste like hot dogs!!!

Ruined my meat and a waste of my money!!!

The best meat shop I've seen in the U.S.

You must go to Claus' if you want the best cuts of meat and lunch meats. Don't worry about the prices - Claus' prices are 10% - 25% lower than any of the local chain grocery stores, and the quality is immeasurably better! Their ground beef tastes great (and has very little fat compared to something for the same price at a chain grocery). And once you've had a BLT made with their double-smoked bacon, you won't even be able to look at packaged bacon. Seriously.

I've heard rumors of a certain northside meat shop that supposedly has high quality - no way. Nothing in Indy compares to Claus'.

• Pros: Service, choices, quality, PRICES!
• Cons: No cons.

A German Tradition since 1914

There is no other place like this. They have been hand making various kinds of authentic German sausage since the turn of the last century. It is wonderful - nothing else comes close.
