I have been going to JTA for my tattoos for years! I recently went in to have my family crest tattooed and he did an amazing job! JT has done over half my tats and he will be the only one i go to from now on! Not only is his work great but he cares about it as well, hes not just trying to make a buck! Thanks JT for the awesome tat!!!

Indy Tattoo Works. Indy Tattoo Works has impeccable work! The service is friendly and professional! I have had 3 tattoos done by JT and each one he does always come out BETTER than I expected! The last two I took in a drawing of what I wanted and it was nothing for him to draw it up and tweak it to look even better than the idea I originally had! I have never regretted any work I have had done and any one I show my tattoos too are always impressed and always ask where I have gotten it done. I will NEVER go any where else. I trust JT's work and recommend it to anyone who wants great work done to brag about!!

Indy Tattoo Works is the Best!!. I just got back from getting a tattoo by JT and I am SO happy with it! Me and my two sisters all got tattoos and we LOVE them, he gave us all exactly what we wanted, plus stayed open pretty late to finish them with careful detail. We were all pretty nervous and kinda new to tattoos but it was a really really great experience. You could definitely tell JT knew what he was doing and he made us feel comfortable and was fun to talk to! I would never go anywhere else after this great experience and I would recomend anyone to him! Oh, and the prices were very reasonable. :]

Went here after poor treatment at Artistic Skin Designs. I have been to most of the biggest tattoo shops in town, and have never been treated with as much courtesy, respect, and professionalism. Jon Hall, the artist, took the time to speak with us and make us as comfortable as possible with our choice. This was after being treated unacceptably at Artistic Skin Designs at the East Side location. After stopping at a few shops on the East Side on Friday, we were beginning to feel as if to get body artwork done, it was customary to be treated poorly, more or less, as if you are being held hostage by rude artists with egos too large to earn my business. This is not my first tattoo, and will not be my last with Jon hall. I would recommend his shop to anyone interested in getting body modification with high quality at a fair rate, from a true professional with a love of the art itself, not the notoriety that comes with it.

Great shop, great artist.. I went in with my brother (visiting from out of state) and had my first tattoo inked this past Sunday. It was kind of a last-minute thing on my behalf, John stayed well past the official posted hours to make sure I was happy.

John did a great job, we had a lot of great conversations about tattoos he has done in the past, how he got started in the business, etc. The experience was very professional/friendly and the work area was very clean.

He was very receptive to any questions or concerns I had before he actually started the inking.

The finished tattoo was exactly what I had been hoping for, so it was a great experience.

I will definitely be going back here when I am ready for my next tat.

Thanks Indy Tattoo Works, you've got a customer for life!

TERRIBLE!. Jon may be nice, but nice people don't necessarily make nice tattoos! I asked for a very very very simple tattoo and he absolutely botched it! Not only did he screw up the outline, but the quality of the tattoo in general is really terrible. My tattoo is supposed to be black, but it is more of a charcoal gray. Very poor quality work. Save yourself the time and money, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Best Tattoo Shop in Indy. I was referred to JTA by someone else and since my last artist skipped town and I can't find him I decided to give him a try. I'm certainly glad I did. JTA went above and beyond to research exactly what I was wanting and drew up a great piece. He took the time to sit down with me at his computer and go through a bunch of different ideas and until I found exactly what I was looking for. He got me in right away and the prices are the best in town. I have several tattoos from different artists around the US and JTA's is the best. They have been in Indy over 20 years and their work speaks volums. I highly recommend Indy Tattoo Works!!

Detail and Pricing no shop can beat. Went last night for two tattoos and was shocked by the detail that was put into the tattoo. Most places only do what they think is good and take your money. JTA takes his time makes sure every little detail and angle are PERFECT! JTA helped us design our tattoos on his computer and finished them up last night. It was a Friday night I might add. JTA stayed open for us till 2am. Great shop and can't wait to go back

Awesome Experience!. This was my son's first tattoo and it was a rather ambitious one at that. John was great! Very professional, very friendly and he did fantastic work. I would highly recommend Indy Tattoo Works.
