Great experience. I got my first tattoo last week. I was not sure what I wanted but had a good idea. John helped me find what it was I was looking for and then stayed open late on Sunday to do my tattoo. It looks great and I have gotten nothing but compliments. Indy Tattoo Works is a great small place that treats you fairly.

Hook, line and sinker. Where to begin? I have had the absolute best tattoo experiences of my life at Indy Tattoo Works. Jon has done two tattoos for me and he is the coolest guy ever! He is very professional and put me at ease immediately. On my first visit, he fixed an ugly tattoo I'd gotten somewhere else and made it absolutely beautiful. My second visit, I had him ink two stars on my upper chest and they were perfect. Jon is full of great stories to tell and extremely personable. In pretty much every other tattoo shop where I'd had work done in the past, the artists really didn't seem to care about what I had to say and definitely weren't the most polite people I'd ever met. They acted put out that I came in the first place! But Jon gave me a very warm welcome and was genuinely interested in making my experience a great one. He negotiated a VERY fair price and his work was impeccable. He told me that he wasn't going to be happy with it until I was happy with it and he bent over backwards to give me exactly what I wanted. In fact, I liked his designs even better than the examples I brought in for him to go by! Jon is very friendly and loves his work. He genuinely enjoys making people happy with their tattoos and won't stop until that happens. I can't say enough good things about Jon and about the experiences I've had at Indy Tattoo Works. After trying out several tattoo shops in the Indy area, I can honestly say that I've now found a "home" at ITW! Jon, you're awesome! Thanks for going above and beyond to give me the best tattoos I've ever had! If you're looking for an amazing tattoo at a very fair price and for an artist who bends over backwards to ensure you're happy with his work, then Indy Tattoo Works is DEFINITELY the place to go!!!!

The best damn tattoo shop in Indy!. Indy Tattoo works is the one place that i have ever been to that takes the time to make sure that you get the tattoo that you want and more! JT & Jon go over the top to make sure that you are getting what you want. I have know JT for over 10 years and have yet to be disappointed with any work that JT has done. My wife and I will not go anywhere else but Indy Tattoo Works! thanks again JT for being so damn good!

Incredible Experience!. Indy Tattoo Works was an amazing experience. I went to them to get my first tattoo and they made the process quick and easy. Any apprehensiveness I had felt prior to going was immediately gone when I started talking to the staff. Everyone there is knowledgeable and talented at what they do. Jon and JT are both incrediblt laid-back and easy going. The 2 hours it took to complete my tattoo were very pleasant. I highly recommend Indy Tattoo Works and will be sending any business I can their way!

BEST TATTOO SHOP EVER!. These guys are awesome. I have recommended them to more people then i can count my my fingers and toes. They did a back tattoo for me of a harley davidson eagle from one of my shirts. I had two sessions totaling almost 14 hours of hard painful work, but all of the pain and tears was so worth the great results of this tattoo. This tattoo is really huge for a lower back tattoo. There is a total of 8 colors in this tattoo. It looks even better as a tattoo then it does as a design on the back of my shirt.

My boy friend loved my tattoo so much that he got his very first tattoo at Indy Tattoo works. His tattoo turned out awesome as well.

I have quite a few friends and co-workers that like my tattoo so much that they are all going to go to Indy Tattoo works to get one done themselves.

I LOVE MY TATTOO and JT & Jon you guys are the best!

Amazing. My husband and I went to Indy Tattoo Works from Louisville, having just read reviews on Citysearch. My husband got a tattoo in memory of his dad who passed away 2 months ago. He brought in the design he wanted, and JT was amazing. This was my husband's second tattoo and he was extremely impressed. The place itself was shabby and could use some cleaning and updating, but JT sterilized the equipment and took the utmost care in keeping the work area clean. Our appointment was at 11 pm, and we didn't get home until 3 am, because JT was so great at making sure he took his time. He was meticulous and careful. We are very happy indeed. When it's time for me to get my first tattoo, I will go there and see JT and no one else!!!!

Good guys, reasonably fair prices. Honestly these guys are preety good, and I am known to give artists a hard time, but they are pretty decent.

Best tattoo's in Indy. Indy Tatoo Works is by far the best in Indy. I have been going for over 8 years, have 11 tatoo's totalling over 70 hours. J.T. has done all 11, will be the only tatooist to ever touch me with a tatoo gun. I have spent many overnighters in the chair, and J.T. always finishes what I want. The facility is clean and you are told exactly what you will recieve. Thanks a million J.T. you know I will be back as long as your around.

JT is AWESOME!. After only making our appointments the night before, 4 grown adults drove an hour and a half to Indianapolis to get our tattoos. Our appointment was scheduled to start at 7:00PM that evening. JT worked ALL night to complete our 4 tattoos. We had quite a lot of drawing and details for him - not to mention the amount of ink he used on us! He worked all night long for us, completing the most meticulous details! We pulled a 12 hour shift with JT and will never forget our wonderful evening!

We cannot put into words how grateful we are to JT for taking such good care of us! He is a VERY thorough and detailed artist - not to mention damn talented!! We will no longer go to anyone else for our tattoos! Indy Tattoo Works IS worth the drive!

If you want an awesome tattoo that you will love forever - get to Indy Tattoo Works!!

Not only will we return for more ink, we will recommend Indy Tattoo Works to everyone we know!
