Ask for Peter when you get your Pho with Flank /Medium Beef. Peter was an attentive waiter; we had dinner. Shopped at the market next door. Peter was especially nice, helpful and the noodles were exquisite.

The Saigon Restaurant * Indy's West Side* and Eggroll number 1 have my heart.

Nice prices

small location *cozy*

Crab soup with artichoke? unbelievable appetizer at $3

remember to get Jasmine Tea, dinner for 2 w/rice /soup/ & tea was under $30

good pho from experienced ethnic food eaters!. We liked both pho soups we ordered, one which was more spicy. They have good prices and a huge menu, but I wasn't crazy about the spring rolls and the place had a funny smell inside- different than most Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. (Just keep in mind your clothes will smell when you leave there.)

Overall, however, it was definately worth the trip to the shady area of town- the food was very good and tasted very authentic. The staff was very nice.

Best Spring Rolls I've had!. The ambiance is good considering it's a Vietnamese restaurant. I have been to lots of Viet. restaurants across the country and scenery is generally not important. Most of the Vietnamese joints in town have little to offer as well. I have been to all of the places in town except for King Wok (which I will try soon). The Pho here is very good but the grilled pork spring rolls are my favorite ... I can't seem to find any other place that serves them. And these spring rolls come with the fish sauce, which is very delicate and tasty, where as most spring rolls come with the hoisen peanut sauce. Also, any other spring rolls that I've found with pork in them the pork was boiled not grilled. The service is not perfect but I've always been taking care of in a quick and pleasant method. It has been better the more they recognize me. As of now, they are by far my top choice for the catagory. I have mostly stuck to the Pho and the Noodle Bowls. Business seems to have picked up since the other reviewer submitted. Keep in mind the are closed on Tuesdays. Give them a try!

Great Pho and Spring rolls, service is average.... Been here many times, and usually over King Wok, which is also quite good. The pho here is the difference maker, but not by much over King Wok. Fast seating here, but then after, the man (owner?) is slow with beverage and food service. Sometimes he will sit there and watch TV when you know your food is ready to be served. Place is never busy either, so you dont have to worrry about seating. Located in the "shady" area of Indy, but worth while to get yourself some good Pho. Spring rolls are a favorite of mine as well. Lowered my review after going back to King WOk now. The service here isnt acceptable, especially after our last take out order where we waited for 40 minutes after getting there on time. We were assured that the order details were right, but when we got home, there were missing items. We no longer go here.
