Good Food!!. My mom and I went there today to try the fabulous double cheeseburger........DELICIOUS!! We arrived at 11:45, no problem getting a table. By 12:10, THE ENTIRE PLACE WAS PACKED! So, get there early. The pulled pork sandwich was da bomb as well.

FREE VEHICULAR LARCENY with Order. I ate here last week with a couple of work buddies and came back out to a broken car window & thievery. Police officer who wrote up the report stated that this happens weekly here. Today I just overheard a conversation at the office of the same thing happening to a co-worker a few weeks previously...which inspired me to write this.

Food was alright. Had the Jalapeno burger...no Jalapenos, wasn't hot, just had pepper cheese on it. A bit disappointing. Heads up to anyone who eats here, take your stuff inside and don't leave anything in your car. I had very dark tinted windows, nothing was left out in the seat.

How About The BIG JOHN!. Hi All, It has the world's best BIG JOHN Sandwich with Chips....This is a Hot Ham & Cheese (GRILLED) To Kill For....WOW what a great taste...The Burgers are Great Too.......I have been eating at the Working Man's Friend for over 35 Years....SUPER LUNCH PLACE!!!!!...Years ago owner John would set me up with a BIG JOHN and a COLD FISHBOWL....WOW...Nothing any better...FISHBOWL is a BREW in JUMBO "FISHBOWL" GLASS....Frosted....WOW....Thanks to all....Tom Haynes

Not The best burger I ever had, period.. Has a nice burger, but not the best around!

The Workingwomans Pub has a better burger and The Lazyman's bar has a better burger!

Nice tenderloin and great shrimp cocktails-however!!!!

The best burger I ever had, period.. If you don't think this isn't the best burger in America, please provide the name and location of a better place. I travel throughout the country and always check out the best dives and diners. For burgers, this is the best, period. The large schooners of ice cold draft beer is the perfect complement. As for the service, it is always reasonable and pleasant. When they are busy it can be a little slow, but so what? Enjoy the diner/dive atmosphere and be glad you're getting the best burger in town.

Great burgers and onion rings!. The service is what's lacking here. Serving staff has been surly and unfriendly in the past. As if they're doing you a favor to wait on you.

Otherwise, good food and a mediocre juke box, conveniently located for after work functions.

So good, I eat there twice a week!. The burgers and onion rings are the best I've ever had. Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday are the best days to go for lunch, since it's not as crowded. They only take cash, so plan ahead. Absolutely amazing!

best burger in town. this place has the best cheeseburger in town, the only place that has better cheeseburgers is "the brick" in Jonesville, 12 miles south of Columbus.

Best Doublecheeseburger in the world.. Anyone who voted for a place other than "the Friend" hasn't been there. The place is always packed for lunch even though its in the middle of a run-down neighborhood and there is hardly any parking. The place isn't fancy, but its clean, and everyone, whether in hardhats or suits, are all there for the same thing -- to get stuffed on the best burgers, fries and onion rings around. Don't know much about the rest of the menu because after 40 visits I still crave the doublecheese. The only question is fries or rings and soda or a cold beer.
