Fantastic hairstylists!. I go to Amy D. and have had one other stylist at Skinners cut & style my hair. They are always friendly, the atmosphere is great, and I always walk out feeling like a new person. Amy does a terrific job and is very cognizant of her customers' desires when choosing a new hairstyle that fits them to a tee.

best stylist in Indy. my hair was a mess when i went in to see Stacie. i am style challenged so any new style i get i can never create. stacie made me feel so at ease and took her time with creating a style that would go with my face shape. never before have i been so happy with a cut and color. i can actually make this style work- she told me i wouldn't be able to mess it up- and it is true. my only dissapointment was in the fact i didn't find out about her until now- :) do yourself a favor and call her. if you are taking the time to read the reviews then you obviously care about your hair. you won't be sorry!

"One of Indianapolis' Uber Stylists" - Indianapolis Monthly 2007. John Skinner has been rated of one Indianapolis' top 5 stylists by Indianapolis Monthly. Between my wife and I, we've visited most of the other top salons at some point. Unlike some of the other top places in the city, this place doesn't need superficial intimidation to attract customers. Instead they rely on a combination of a solid space, friendly people, and a master stylist on top of his game. While John is the man, there are other creative stylists that work for him and produce superb results as well. Not to mention that I love gettin' a good Indianapolis roasted (and brewed by smart friendly barristas) Hubbard & Cravens coffee before I start my session!

I'd say definitely agree with Indianapolis Monthly - top Stylist and creative salon!! Go skinners!!

great for guys too. like a lot of guys, i was apprehensive about going to a "salon." but after starting a new job and entering the business world, great clips just wasn't going to cut it anymore (pun absolutely intended). i had to look good. skinners did the trick and it was more affordable than i thought it would be. you definitely get what you pay for!

I won't go anywhere else!. Finding a new hair salon can be a depressing task. Everyone loves their "regular" person and when I moved to Indy I wasn't thrilled about finding a new stylist....until I went to Skinners.

I went to Ashley and even though I was pretty nervous, she made me feel very comfortable and I totally trusted her. She did an amazing job on my hair (now I get compliments all the time, which never happened before) and I won't go anywhere else.

The stylists at Skinner's are welcoming, professional and most importantly, great at what they do! I would recommend Skinner's to anyone.

Skinners Hair. i was a walk in...staff was not response due to other circumstances...... it was still visible... , jittery and just high strung

Great Hair Salon. If your new to the town or searching for a great salon, this is the one!! The atmosphere is very modern and comfortable and the stylist are friendly and great at what they do!!

Hair Color. Jay does great hair color and cut. Highly recommend. Call ahead he is very hard to book an appointment with.

Best in Broad Ripple. Skinners does the best hair in town. If you need a new salon this is the spot to go. A perfect 10!!
