Don't try to ship a gift basket. I went in after Christmas to create and send a gift basket. I knew it would take several days before it shipped and arrived, and I was ok with that. Over a week after I'd been in the store, I tried to track the package. It said that the packaged hadn't been shipped. I called to find out the story and was told they would pay extra in order to get it to the destination faster. Called today to check on tracking and was told it wouldn't arrive til this Friday. That's 2 1/2 weeks after I'd gone in to the store. I'm severely displeased over their service and will never shop there again. I should've just bought the items on my own and shipped it on my own, but I went through Kahn's because I thought it would be easier. WRONG!

Pricey but it's a Booze Cathedral. I've only been in a few times and the service was really pretty good. I like rare German, Czech and Polish beers and they have just about everything. Belgian stuff as well, which supposedly amazing. I'll comment later about whiskeys. Not exactly an oenophile.. so I can't comment on that.

Kahn's is local Indy..not a chain, etc.. Nowadays, it's good to support places like this. You don't need to be an economics professor to know that.

Over priced and over rated.. I find this "superstore" over priced and over rated. Service is lackluster and when you finally get someone's attention they "talk down" to you.

The "silver haired" gentleman or manager (?) seems condenscending to the staff and rude.

Caters to Wine/Beer lovers!. Kahn's was the one wine/beer store I planned on visiting when in Indianapolis and I am glad to have made the trip. It is located on a main road and is pretty easy to find.

While it is obvious that the store caters to wine customers, they do a very good job on beer selection with the limited space. They have a pretty good system of categorization too.

The service is pretty good

This spot is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Indianapolis area. It is only about 10 minutes from downtown.
