I have been in the pizza industry for 20+ years so I might be more critical than most.

I have been in Indy for 5 months and i thought I would try a local pizza shop. I was told by a few of my customers that Some Guys has good food and that I should try it.

I checked out the website for the menu. when the site appeared it looked like a 4 year old created it. just didn't seem professional. unfortunately it also seems like Some Guys don't care what there customers think because there is no way to respond to them on their website.

What I ordered:

1 small creole pizza, 1 small southwest, 1 angel hair thai pasta, and 6 cans of coke.

my total bill came to $43.02

for $13.00 I was expecting at least a 1/2 pan of pasta similar to what pizza hut has. The pasta tasted good. The portion of pasta I received was warm at best. it irritated me that an item that takes a utensil to eat it with was not provided as well as napkins.

Nothing is more irritating than to open up a box of pizza to find out you have to cut it. i ask myself how this could be possible and it really boils down to the employees don't care. Both pizzas had generous topping portions but the crust tasted stale and flavorless. In most cases this is caused by using expired dough. On top of all that there was no promotional material included.

All in all I will not reorder from Some Guys Pizza. I feel what I ordered wasn't worth what I paid and the food wasn't that spectacular.

Some guys, ugh.

I have to say I'm so disappointed in this place. I went there once and thought that although my waitress was a complete dud, the food was worth the waitress' lack of intelligence.

My second time eating the pizza, I decided to avoid the stupid service, and get it delivered... The person on the phone told us it would be a 2 hour wait for delivery, so we opted to get it picked up. Our order was a HALF royal feast, half cheese. (two vegetarians...) After a short while we went to pick up the pizza, while they delivered it to our door. The people in the place didn't know where the pizza was, and we turned around and went back for our pizza which was at home...

Not a big deal, we only live a few minutes away, but when we got back it was a whole royal feast, and we called to address our concerns... They said they'd give us a small cheese pizza to make up for it, and said they'd have it delivered in 15 mins. 45 mins went by and we called again and they said it was supposed to be picked up. We canceled the order, and then decided to call back to talk to management..

Management got on the phone interrupted our concerns and said, "We wont deliver any more food to this address, because you've already cost us enough money tonight."

Forget that place.

• Pros: good salad
• Cons: bad service...terrible, make that TERRIBLE service.

I've been to Some Guys dozens of times over the years and have had excellent food & service every single time!
